That didn't take long. A fully finished version of that would look good.

Can someone give me the .uv file? I'm out of town and would like to design some skins, but I can't access my beamng.

EDIT: I was sent them already.

I'm really , really liking this thing., however there are two small additions I think would be worthwhile.

Firstly, Some windshield mounted mirrors, seeing as how the stock mirrors are mounted on the doors, when the doors are off, so are the mirrors.

(Here's my most recent Jeep, with windshield mounted mirrors)

And Secondly; an older style roll bar, I admit this is more of an aesthetic thing, As I've always found the family bar to be hideously ugly. However it would be more appropriate in models sold without a back seat.

Hey, does anybody know if the Hopper was "meant" to be driven everywhere in 4wd or kept in 2wd on roads and such?

The only people who would know is the devs. I use awd everywhere unless I want to make offroad a challenge

4wd on slippery / low traction surfaces, 2wd everywhere else.

Assuming it behaves true to life.

I'm guessing it has a locked transfer case so realistically you should only use 4wd in low traction areas.

That would be absolutely perfect for the Classic Hopper! Since its value is marked as "7,000", I think we can safely assume that it is a limited-production model (as opposed to a one-off like the Jeep 75th Salute), and would therefore require some sort of rollover protection in order to be saleable.

On a related topic, I wonder if we'll ever get a "No. Produced" slot in the information panel for each factory vehicle.

That would become useless fast, as we've probably already annihilated all of the hoppers ever made.

I know that you aren't supposed to have it in low range when on road if i'm not mistaken, and I think you have it in 2wd for fuel saving not that it matters in this game anyway.

I'm thinking that a "No. Produced" slot would be most useful for career mode, governing how likely a particular variant is to spawn for sale, and possibly affecting the price of the vehicle. After all, used cars don't always sell for their "blue book" value!

Area should be a factor too. An Italian Bolide would be more common in Italy than Utah.

i saw offroad and challenge and immediately thought this.

now that i think about it, a 90s Japanese pickup would be very nice. combine elements from both Nissan and Toyota.

Also, a car that you got in a guetto/"Bad neighbourhood" would be in much worse condition that one that you got in a rich area
