Suggested before and every time we've come to the same conclusion: run media player in the background. If you have a keyboard with media function keys BeamNG wont read the media functions but even though its in the background they will still effect media player.
Firstly my media buttons work while playing this game. Secondly an in game radio would be cool because in the open world finale game you could hear each others radios. Now would radios be standard? Who knows you might have to buy one for your car. Or if you are in favor of lightness for more speed you wouldn't have one.
+1. GTA has a rather basic stereo config. the actual radio doesn't have to be lit up and functional, just a simple APP (like ones we currently alrdy have) could be implemented. I think this would be entirely possible!
Remember, GTA is AAA, and it has voice actors and musicians to do all of their radio stations. We have 4-5 people at BeamNG, and there is a magical thing, called the Internet that has lots of music, or SoundCloud has Gabes music! That can be played in the background, and voila! Now you have a radio!
What about use Windows Media Player in background? i use it for mp3 and radio in background when playing games many years without any problems
While I do like the idea of an in-game radio, everybody else seems to think it is utterly unnecessary :/ I do have a Corsair K70 with media keys so I can just run iTunes in the background although I'd still rather have the in-game radio.
True story. Now I doubt this game would ever have as detailed radio stations as GTA they could have a very basic radio feature where you put your own song sin and it can play them for you in game through the car's stereo. Then you will notice the system getting damaged and other things if that stuff is implemented.
