If you only had $10,000, what car would you buy?

    Hey everyone! Everyone always asks "If you had a billion dollars, what would you buy?" But, one thing I've never heard anyone ask, "if you only had $10,000, what would you buy?" The rules are simple: The average price of the car has to be $10,000 or under, so you can't say "I'd buy a chevelle!", because, though you can get one for ~$3000, it probably doesn't work. Also, if you already have a lot of money, and you have your dream car, what would you say is the best car for $10,000 or under?
    If I had $10,000, I would buy a 2002 Subaru WRX. Cheap, fun, and dependable. What more could you ask for?

    Wrong thread, but I like the idea :)

    Probably a Peugeot 403 8cv in perfect shape, for 8k€ you can get a very good model.
    But since I've already got one it doesn't really count.

    So If not, for 11k€, I would get a Peugeot 504 coupé v6.

    2004-7 WRX (possibly a STi if cheap), a Cherokee, Maybe a TJ if cheap (they skyrocket in price), 07+ Tiburon, maybe a 350z? idk anything in there

    10k for a car is perfect for me since my affordable dream car is a Nissan 240sx s13, plus i'd have some cash left over to fix any issues it may have from buying it used.
