Really liking this little 'Robot' as well as you can pose it up quite well. 'BUILT IT out of SPARE PARTS, Little Miss' Unedited BeamNG screenshot below in the awesome Okinawa map.
Thanks for showing some interest 'fishbazookas'...really enjoy doing these...just something different on the creative side.
Trying to find my groove as to what type of characters to include in the BeamNG screenshots...this one is a personal favorite...of course this is a personal opinion...lol 'What'ya Lookin At! ...and the original BeamNG screenshot below.
Really liking this Male Cyborg character in my scenes...he's a keeper 'WHHHYYY!!!' ...and the BeamNG original screenshot with added extra lighting within the awesome World Editor
Using my favorite character at the moment, adjusted the pose for the below 'Showroom' scene' 'Portrait of Me and My Girl' Original BeamNG screenshot cropped and used for this with some added lighting within World Editor to light the ground plane areas Getting used to the 'Workflow Procedure' as described in previous posts having both Photoshop open with the BeamNG screenshot and Daz3D also open with the character posed with lighting to match
A husband that loves his family and his old school cars, decided to get a Family Portrait done to represent this...Husband , Wife and 2 kids (kids are adopted) Meet... 'The Nuclear Family Portrtait' From an unedited BeamNG screenshot .
After many months of work the power pro salavage couple finally carted back the the main piece of the Fuselage to Home Base. Discussing where to store it and what are the prospects of possibly restoring her...and as usual in the background, the 'Haulage Bots' pack away all the machinery Crates. 'So You Think SHE'S SALVAGEABLE'
Thanks for taking the time to reply 'ArsPro' In the image the 'Haulage Bots' did all the work, lifting, positioning etc....In reality, 'World Editor' is a wonderful tool, but still had to position it very carefully, once it was on, it stayed on suprisingly well... because I wanted to drive it around Utah to get some more screenshots....lol
Having a go at adding reflections of the added 3D characters in screenshots that I have already done with mirror reflections produced within World Editor...a little more work than I expected, but worked great. 'Dynamo Perfection' The unedited, but cropped from original screenshot produced below. How it looked from within Daz3D when setting up the 'Mirrors' for reflection of the character...of course, some post work in Photoshop to adjust the look of the reflections once in the final composite.
Enchanting in style, color, composition and perspective. I love the moments when you show us a new work of art and I sit in front of it for a few minutes with my eyes (and mouth) wide open and just enjoy it! Thank you "M G Gourley" for these wonderful impressions one by one! (I also can imagine those as big prints in your vernissage )
Thank you for your kind words and focus my friend... I'm just doing what comes naturally to me with old-school Photoshop composite work. While I may not have the same level of BeamNG map and modeling knowledge and creativity as you or others, this is my 'jam,' so to speak. For me, it's a match made in heaven
Finding out the limitions of my PC on this image....could not place both figures in the scene as PC just stopped working....LOL...so back to working on each figure separately 'OH, That's Hot!' Unedited full screenshot 5760 x 1080 pixels below...but had to lighten the final image above in the engine area to highlight it more. Below screenshots of workflow showing each figure with both Photoshop and Daz3d open at the same time to get positioning Pose / Lighting etc.
I did not think BeamNG would have another DAZ user. Nice work. I use BeamNG for machinima and cinematics so I bring in models from Blender and DAZ (static or animated) and use them as dummy replacements, or behind the wheel or part of the landscape. Here's a dummy experiment where I replaced the dummy mesh with a custom model (randomly chosen from MMD): Animated driver: https://imgur.com/a/210TlYD & https://imgur.com/a/PZiPxit & https://imgur.com/a/3nSDtTB Animated models in the environment: https://imgur.com/a/4XJWXQ0 My hope is to make BeamNG the de facto sandbox environment for machinima purposes, it just has most of the tools I need to make almost any scene I want. BeamNG devs have been amazing and they've created an amazing sandbox.
That's awesome 'ffzero58', also thought I was the only one If you have any spare time could you show how you get Daz Figures into BeamNG as an Object so I can place them in the screenshot screen with in World Editor. I have looked at many You Tube Videos showing how to do this and it does not seem to work for me...possibly missed something. Thanks for showing some interest and your right BeamNG is an amazing sandbox with so much to do and see...no worries if you do not have time as the above 'Workflow Procedures' I use works ok.
If you are using DAZ Studio 4.23, it should work using Collada DAE export - however, there are some weird things about the texture that will not come through very well (because different shaders between DAZ's Iray shaders and how it will be interpreted in the BeamNG game engine). So it would go from this: to this: https://imgur.com/a/Iyfn6hT Many things will come back untextured. Its not impossible to fix, you just need to plug in the correct values in the json.materials file. However, it wont look as good as your workflow, since you are probably rendering using Iray. Either way, you will likely need to do additional postwork. It is possible if you do an OBJ export from DAZ, then using Blender to export the DAE file, you might get a cleaner result. I have not tried this yet.
Yes, thank you 'ffzero58'.....I did wonder whether if there would be loss of quality trying to get the Daz characters into BeamNG as most of the You Tube videos I viewed did show low res characters....this will not do as image quality is of utmost priority. Yes, I do render the characters in Daz3D 'IRAY' and they do look magnificent when finished at a 4k resolution My direction is clear now...continue my journey as I have already started Thanks for your time
In the not-too-distant future, humans and machines coexist harmoniously, yet they both share an appreciation for the timeless beauty of a classic car. Whether it's the sleek lines of a vintage roadster or the roar of a well-tuned engine, these iconic vehicles continue to captivate the hearts and minds of both human and machine alike. Phew!...this one was a marathon...lol Title - 'Say...That's a Nice Car' Below is the unedited screenshot with the usual added lights from within the magical World Editor Screenshot below showing the extra lights within World Editor ...and usual 'Workflow Procedure', as discribed in previous posts with photoshop and Daz3D open at the same time.
