The younger GenZ generation tends to have disposable income and a desire to spend it impulsively, often living in the moment without much consideration for the future. However, cybersecurity measures are in place to keep a vigilant electronic eye on their activities, ensuring that their spending habits and online behaviors are monitored and controlled. 'The NEW Daily Driver' Although my main mission is to get a straight unedited screenshot with all lighting / composition set from within BeamNG, I wanted to lighten selected areas on the above final screenshot image to get a better effect. Unedited screenshot below but cropped from original. The Third screenshot below shows the Daz3D Female figure, Crate Props and extra Police Robot all in the scene roughly placed but separated so I could easily mask out and transfer them to the Photoshop composite final image to save time on rendering them separately.
Having some fun with this one...found a couple of figures in the Daz3D Shop and when you combine the Morph adjustments of each character, VoilĂ ...you can get the big Green Man 'Puny Car!!' Added some damage debris and motion blur to the Green Man for effect. Unedited BeamNG screenshot below, set up 'Motion Blur' in World Editor and Recorded the crash into the red Container so I could get a small amount of motion blur in the final image. Below screenshots show the print screen of each character in the workflow procedure for posing, lighting and positioning etc. Now that I have done a few artworks and rendered some characters in separate files it is handy to reuse them, just open them up, place in a new pose and put a suitable facial expression on and your done....this can save a good amout of time starting from scratch
Still playing around with the big Green Guy, this time I wanted to show some deformation in the Suspension of the vehicle, so it's World Editor' to the rescue. Once my favorite D Series Dually was placed in World Editor, spawn in a '5 Tonne Rolled Steel roll'...at this point I just 'Paused' BeamNG's game Physics so I could move the 5 Tonne Steel Roll above the Truck Cab without it just dropping to the ground. I wanted the Rolled Steel to crush the back end of the Cab, rolling down onto the back deck, bending the Roll Bars as it went, so at this stage 'Un-Pause' BeamNG's Game physics and the Steel Roll did it's thing. Once the Steel Roll reached the Back Deck I quickly 'Paused' BeamNG's game Physics and because it's 5 Tonne in weight the Trucks suspension sunk to the ground, tires deformed and it gave me the result I was after. At this point just click the 'Eye' icon in the menu to make the Steel Roll' invisable and leave BeamNG's Game Physics paused throughtout the image creation stage to keep the crushed suspension where it is. 'We Said...NO Smash!' The second screenshot is the unedited version as it was taken within BeamNG, with added color lights to the background walls, but just cropped more. The Third screenshot shows the Photoshop / Daz3D workflow set up with both programs open at the same time to get the Pose / lighting on the Character before proceeding to final render. I also use the low res 'Print Screen' image of the character to place in the scene to check pose / lighting etc Below screenshot shows World Editor 'Steel Roll' set up to crush the D Series. Thoroughly enjoying this journey of creativity.
I would like to wish all the awesome BeamNG Community a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all. Every Christmas the local residents band together to set up a Christmas Tree in front of the Town Church in East Coast and distribute presents to the children that are less fortunate. Unedited screenshot below No AI used in the creation of these screenshots
We don't need AI. We need "M D Gourley"! Thank you for all your great and inspiring artwork! Also happy holidays to you!
Thank you for your kind words 'Barbent'...just trying something different with these and a lot of learning to do.
Setting up a scene using the 'Skybox' from 'car_killer' and the Team...works superbly and once my scene was composed, extra lighting added from within World Editor, it was great to cycle through the options that where available...every option tried was superb, but settled on thie one used. Would like to be able to move the 'skybox' left or right, maybe slightly up and down for some extra fine tuning of where the clouds and darker areas of the skys are placed within the final scene...without having to move the main composed final scene. Could see this as a winner with some other Skys like the 'Aurora borealis', 'Tornados' for those open landscape scenes...the Team will have their work cut out for them now...will need hundreds of Skyboxes....lol 'Are We Ready' ...and the unedited, but cropped BeamNG original scene No AI used in the creation of these images
No AI used in the creation og this screenshot Got inspired by the FREE 'M3D Bodysuit' and developed this characters look with an eclectic taste showing a broad range of Wardrobe and Accessories...personally happy with the way she looks Produced and set up the vehicle within the 'Showroom'scene in BeamNG.drive. Added additional lighting to the Showroom from within World Editor and set up the reflection ground plane. 'RED on BLACK' In this screenshot the ground reflection has been adjusted to give a slight ripple effect to represent the texture of the floor. The second screenshot is the unedited version as it was taken within BeamNG, just cropped more. The Third screenshot shows the Daz3D Figure and a Mirror Plane set up...of course, adjusted in post Photoshop work to get the look. Masked out the Female reflection and placed on a separate Layer in photoshop and just used the 'Hue Saturation - Lighness' to darken up the reflection to get that faded in look. Still a beginner with more practice needed. Thanks for viewing M D Gourley
No AI used in the creation of this screenshot After a busy year, the power couple takes a well-deserved break and travels to their holiday home on Jungle Rock Island. Due to the nature of their business, they always travel with SED10, their security droid, and their loyal haulage bot for when heavy lifting is required. However, the haulage bot spots an unidentified water vessel approaching the island. Is the power couple's holiday about to take a turn for the worse? 'The Jungle Rock Holiday Home' Below is the un-edited screenshot with the addition of 'CK Skybox' mod. Below screenshot shows the Photoshop / Daz3D workflow set up with both programs open at the same time to get the Pose / lighting on the Character before proceeding to final render. I also use the low res 'Print Screen' image of the character to place in the scene to check pose / lighting etc...this procedure was done with all figures. ...and the extra added lighting within the screenshot done in World Editor as indicated in Orange. Still a beginner with more practice needed and thoroughly enjoying this experience Thanks for viewing M D Gourley
Hello everyone, Finally getting around to trying out some AI Generated images and settled on 'Kling AI' as the AI generator of choice only due to it's the latest update of this program, v1.6 and got good reviews for the most part on You Tube. (at time of this post) Have spent a good day just trying to generate images with a similar feel to my Screenshot showing BeamNG and 3D Figures contained within this Thread. Sadly probably 80% of the images generated did not follow the 'Text Prompt' accurately, most probably by my bad prompts anyway...lol...but there were a few that did and ended up looking great anyway for a random image which are showcased here. Just created an account in 'Kling AI' and purchased the minimum Plan with a certain amount of 'Credits' which was approx $18.00 of my countries currancy and is used when you 'Generate' every image....thought this was enough just to try 'Kling AI' out as I did not want to get into a Monthly Plan if I did not want to go any further. On a personal note, after a day of generating around 30+ images—most of which didn't quite fit the bill, despite the relatively quick process of 5-10 minutes to generate 2-4 at a time—I find myself exhausted and slightly disappointed with the results overall considering the amount generated....although this is far more than I could off created manually in a days work. While the results look great, there's something far more fulfilling about creating one's own artwork from scratch within BeamNG and Daz3D to achieve the Screenshot images I personally envisage. 'Kling AI' artwork images created below....just by typing in some text and hoping for the best
The internet is becoming increasingly flooded with such content. To be honest, I've already unintentionally gotten tired of it. You can also find a feature in every image that reveals it to be AI-generated. But even that doesn't matter. The images are really amazing on the one hand, but they still seem like mass-produced goods. You can't see any deeper meaning. That's just my opinion. And because anyone can produce it in infinite numbers, I can't "like" it anymore, as the "like button" is meant to mark something special . Thanks anyway "M D Gourley" for showcasing this .
Agree totally with you on the AI 'BSGT' and I do not think there is really any skill needed apart from learning how to express your thoughts in a 'Prompt' trying to create an image. This was my first go at creating something with AI and although excited to see what I could do, and as mentioned in my above post I found myself exhausted and slightly disappointed overall at the end of the day....I will continue creating my own screenshots as this is far more satisfying. Although some of the above AI images I may have ago at re-creating in BeamNG and Daz...just to see if I can get something of a similar look...so producing AI images could be a tool for sparking new and creative ideas in other artworks. ...and as for 'Liking' meant for something special, everyone sees something different and my view is that this person spent the time to create something that in their eyes is special and worthy of showcasing, for that I commend them for trying and give a 'Like'
Hello everyone, Just continuing my journey and this time thought about exploring how AI can be used as one of many tools in the creative process. In 'Kling AI' there is another Feature and that is... 'Image to Video'... and I thought this might be interesting. Could my BeamNG / Daz3D static single images with characters become animated...short answer is yes...although with some caveats. After uploading my finished artworks to 'Kling AI' my initial reaction after it had finished rendering was 'Holy Moly' this is amazing, seeing your artwork come to life, though only for 5 seconds in this case, but still a great thrill to see this. However, after experimenting with them for a couple of days, I found that some turned out great while others failed miserably....lol....and while it is amazing to see this, having to wait Hours to even Days before seeing your creation materialize can be time consuming. My own experience on a couple of occasions, was waiting over 1 day to create some Videos only to find when it did show up, they were unusable...though the time delay was due to high internet usage of Kling AI. Generally though most of the render times for my 'Image to Video' creations were in the 15mins - 40mins range depending on how much online usage there was. From what I can see, there's still the usual problem of morphing and distorting of hands and faces, although this could also be that I only had access to the 'Standard' render options in the Menu as the 'Professional Mode' was greyed out, this mode my give much better results, but at a higher cost. Out of the 9 artwork images I uploaded for trial, only 1 turned out very good. (personal opinion)...and that one is 'THE JUDGE, Jury and Executioner', ...really liked the overall movement with minimal / no distortion and Kling AI also did a good job of following the prompt I wrote for this one which was.... 'Female slowly looking behind at burning vehicle behind her'. ...or you can just drop your image in, have no prompt and see what happens Although in my prompt I did not mention add movement to the fire flames 'Kling AI' automatically did this, top marks in this one. Thought this and other Videos are a great addition to my static screenshot artwork, the story behind 'The Judge' could be.... 'Female cyborg Soldier poses for photo after succeeding in her mission to distroy the enemy (which is my Artwork screenshot)...then once photo has been taken,...'At ease Soldier'..., then she looks behind her'....as seen in the animated GIF Video....this blew my mind...lol Below is the static BeamNG Screenshot that I created. Below is what 'Kling AI' gave me with the above screenshot uploaded for conversion. Click on GIF to see short continued animation At the end of the day AI is here to stay, so why not use it as one of the many tools in the creative journey.
Yes, while this is the best of the lot I tried out on my own artworks, morphing and distortion is a common thing...however still amazing to see some of your own artworks with a little animation. It will only get better as time progresses
Hello everyone, Having some more fun adding some animation into my static screenshots using 'Kling AI' One of my favorites, although this one has a number of distorted and morph changing elements when viewed larger. 'ARE WE READY" Story - The Resistance Fighters posing for a Photograph while taking a quick break after a heavy battle session in the City ( My static screenshot). ...as the motion continues (Kling AI Video)... the Humanoid Female, her movements unsteady and weary, due to the aftermath of the battle. Nearby, the Cyborg Male resting on the ammunition crate, quickly repairs his dislocated right elbow joint due to an encounter with a formidable Battle Machine. The prompt was...'The Female figure to the right moving around and the Male figure shaking his head.'...so what I got was basically correct, liked the additional Cloudscape movement to the top left which gives more realism to the video. Likes... The Clouds from 'CK Dynamic Skybox' are animated at top left. Female character showing fatique when moving about Male character moving spontaneously by wiping nose. Male left elbow joint spasm (battle wound...lol) The character figures stay realitively stable throughout The lighting within the scene and on the characters stays constent This is from my non AI original artwork Problems... Male knee morph spasm Male left elbow joint spasm (don't mind this one) Male left hand goes through face when wiping nose. Female Baseball Cap Lip at back of head morphs into ponytail (although the AI was'nt to know about the BB Cap Lip) Female Gun shape morphs Had to re-generate this one 3 times due to extreme morphing on some of the renders and pick the best (one shown here) and at approx 30mins per render while using up Credits I did not want to continue any further. Another fairly successful 'Image to Video' done with my static original BeamNG / Daz3D screenshot artworks. It's amazing how 'Kling AI' would have to fill in all the missing details behind the characters when they move, adjust the reflections, lighting to match the scene and re-render shadow movements on the vehicle and ground, not to mention redeveloping the Character themselves in the 3D space. Original Screenshot below. Below is the Animated GIF...just click on it to activate The next one below I wanted less movement with the figure, only slightly swaying and looking left to right, I think they nailed this one and it has low morph distortion. Although I did not ask for it in the prompt 'Kling AI' added a slight camera pan movement as well...overall happy with this result. 'RED on BLACK' My original BeamNG / Daz3D artwork screenshot below. Kling AI Image to Video generation of the above artwork shown below. ...click on image to animate the GIF. On a personal note, maybe less movement is the key to less distortion...who knows...lol P.S. Update, You can use 'ChatGPT' to generate a Prompt. See Video below
Phew!, that was lucky, nearly went over to the darkside ( AI generated artworks...lol) Back on track here creating from scratch some more with a NEW addition to the final workflow. If you are efficient at using Photoshop then these effects from 'Ron's Brushes' are an absolute game changer for adding that extra depth to your screenshots...loving them Story - In a world where humans and machines coexist, a relentless Humanoid Hunter Tracker roams the desolate landscapes, searching for deactivated and abandoned cyborgs. But a shadowy entity lurks in the darkness, orchestrating the destruction of these mechanical beings. As the Hunter Tracker uncovers the sinister plot, the stakes rise higher than ever. Will the Hunter Tracker unravel the mystery and save the cyborgs, or will the secret entity's malevolent plan succeed? This first image has various 'Ron's Brushes' effects which are 'Photoshop Brushes' you pick and apply to your artwork (a lot more editing though) Link here... https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result?q=rons+brushes 'The HUNTER TRACKER' This Second image is just the BeamNG screenshot and the added Daz3D characters. The Third image below is the un-edited screenshot from BeamNG, with some extra added lighting within World Editor. The Fourth image the Daz3D / Photoshop Workflow procedure I follow with all created artwork. Another image created below... 'Sunset Cyborgs' The above image has 'Rons Brushes' added to create the effect of a dirty Camera Lens that shows lots of chromatic aberration. Second image is the BeamNG / Daz3D characters. Below image is the un-edited BeamNG screenshot with extra added lighting done in World Editor, also showing the 'World Editor' added lights indicated in Orange and my normal Workflow procedure. Thank for stopping by.
Two breathtaking creations again! Really well done. The light refraction effect of the camera lens adds dynamism to the scene. The ideas for the "location", the vehicle and the figures really appeal to me. It's really fun to admire the pictures.
Thanks 'BSGT' ...I feel that using 'Rons Brushes' for Photoshop, complete the images. Although I aim to create unedited images, the added after effects truly finish the artworks.
No AI used in the creation of this image In the first screenshot show I have used 'Ron's Brushes' (as previous post link) for the added finishing touches. Two best friends and gear heads sharing their passion for older vehicles with newer running gear. 'YEAH...She's had all the UPGRADES' The second image is the unedited version as it was taken within BeamNG, just cropped more. The Third screenshot shows the Photoshop / Daz3D workflow set up with both programs open at the same time to get the Pose / lighting on the Character before proceeding to final render. I also use the low res 'Print Screen' image of the character to place in the scene to check pose / lighting etc...this procedure was done with all figures. The Fourth screenshot shows the added extra lighting within World Editor as indicated in Orange. Still a beginner with more practice needed and throughly enjoying this experience.
