The reason this happens is because upon reaching wanted level 2, police switches to chase mode. Chase mode AI is not good at tactics, it only rams vehicles. They could certainly make a custom police mode AI for this, though.
A system to mark what campaigns / scenarios are already done and separate them from the still to complete, where we can see what medals from bronze to gold are rewarded and what percentage of the game is already ''completed'' divided by kind of missions. (of course the game never ends because you have free roam etc.). And a rework of the menus so everything is a bit faster, more clear and simplified, which in my opinion is very needed rn. This is a idea apart from career mode.
Working force feedback, especially for FWD cars, would be nice, too. But then again this might be the Logitech issue that still (?) isn´t solved (?).
I've been silently playing / following Beamng, saw the progression and my list goes like this: - Career which incudes some sub genres (Rally,rallycross,crawling,dift,drag......) VERY basic style "win races, get money, buy parts,,,buy car, lose, lose money etc." - Simple Career and mostly practice like guidance hid behind the story. - Story should SIMPLE. ... Fun,distractive, surpricefull, motivation mechanism, focused on dopaminenergetic circle in large scale so even some players who most likely skip Career / dont like Career, now they have story and career which allows them enjoy and play it. - BIGGEST bonus is each of those "bigger events or dramas" that gives you a reward (handy but not too OP) it also tells you some interesting things what you have now accomplished as driver and as thinks true your status with you (actually to IRL you). why record 12sec clip where manager tells you to "go fast! go 200%!" - Each Genre champ wins some non-crazy.. like title or bold player name, special decals, up to 5 dummies max in car...ofcourse you won alot psychological data, approx 35-40% of you already learned some useful IRL -related skill, 30% will maybe get those effects afterwards (kinda "heureka" -effect). Sadly 5-10%+ of us wont register any of that tangled up experimental, they ONLY play, want win hard and if HAS to go career then they use to have hard time to follow those rules and feel the mood, they accelerate. Online MP list: - kinda lobby map, some gastations, car repair places. - in lobby you can only write in general chat, only way use headset is drive near by, open window, talk. - Rallies an competition ofcourse let you talk with co-players. Well thats it. I havent sent a many post before in this forum. Now I go smoke. BTW. if you are interested teamup and start making cool Audio/Video/Gaming things! contact me in PM or chtstep@gmail.com. (my personal ad)
I have a camshaft mod on the repo with custom sounds. It's sort of a W.I.P. and is not "properly" implemented you could say, and still needs to be tweaked/optimized, but is functional. Just be sure to check the known bug section and if you find any bugs, please DM me.
Ayo if someone manages to put every GTA map (except GTA V one) and port it to Beam that would be absolutely insane
Going off other police-related improvements, here are my ideas -Car era sorta thing - set it to the 60s, get 60s cop cars, set it to modern days, get modern police cars I honestly don't think it would be too hard to implement, just make a slider UI app or something and put numbers from 1960 to present -Better police AI - maybe use machine learning to train the AI to do common police maneuvers -Better blockades - sometimes you just see a single covet in the middle of the highway trying to stop you in a massive truck and you just laugh at it -I forgot what I was going to add here lol Also to the guy that said camshafts would be cool: Yes it would be cool We did not ask Stop self advertizing your mods in the wrong thread
guys, idk if it was microsoft flight simulator, but there is a game where they used ai to remake the world with realistic textures, buildings and terrain... and beamng, you know....
Completely unreasonable, in flight simulator you're 40,000 feet up so you don't notice the horrible ground quality, we won't it in a game on the ground for years
"We've updated our system requirements! The minumum requirements to run BeamNG at 720p lowest @30fps is an Nvidia MTX 9090 Super Ti pared with an Intel I27 69000k and 64TB of RAM"
Maybe the highest-end Threadripper for 60fps. Anything above that is unobtainable unless you steal a PC from NASA or SpaceX or whatever European space programs there are
Idk if anyone has mentioned the clipping that occurs when you crash into stuff really hard but I'll put this here anyways. For example, I'm in a T series going 70 mph, and I crash into a Pessima going 20. The Pessima will get stuck on the front of the truck and remove all ability to steer. It would be great to one day eliminate this clipping to make things more pretty to look at after a crash, and easier so I don't have to pry the cars apart using the node grabber or using F7.
oh ok, but why are there weird spikes under the cabin of the AN-12B (idk why it reminded me that but anyway)
