@Ytrewq Hi, as you know I bought 2x ETK 800's recently. I gave the one that I planned to give to a family member, and they took it, however it has proven to be unreliable, and the heaters have broke, is it possible to return it to ETK to get it repaired? I have a prototype ETK 800 that they could have but I'm selling that, so I was wondering if I could fix the one bought from you? If not, can I return it to you for repairs?

Can the heaters from the second car be used as replacement parts, or are they broken, too? And, because you say that the car turned out to be unreliable, I guess there is something else that is broken. What exactly? I'll try to fix the car.

Ok, the heaters in the other car appear to be working fine, however the transmission has already failed too.

I see that I can probably fix it. I'll just take heaters from the grey car and install into the white one(better one). And which car has the gearbox broken- grey or white?

White one, the family member I gave it to said that it failed on them down the dual carridgeway and they had to coast in neutral with their hazards on. Apparently it got towed home. I wasn't willing to remove the transmission from my red prototype I own myself, as I am trying to sell that.

So, heater and gearbox replacement work will cost $1000, we already have the heaters but what about the gearbox? I've contacted an ETK dealership, and they said that a brand new gearbox will cost $2400. Another option is a part from a local junkyard that specialises in ETKs. It is going to cost $880(they may give a discount). Here's a photo of the parts car. I could not test the gearbox because the battery is dead and axles are damaged.
So, you can choose between two options.

I'm going to go for the £880. It's worth the risk.

    I'd choose it too.
*removes heaters' parts from the grey car, puts white car on a trailer, delivers it home, picks up gearbox from the junkyard, installs the parts into white car, brings it back*
Tested the car, runs currently great. Hope the gearbox lasts long enough.
So, the price is: $1000 for the work and $860 for the gearbox (they gave me a discount)- $1860 in total.

*hands money* Thanks! I'll get the car to the family member who uses it later.
