Manta is based on Vivace and mantis on togeac

Pavilion probably not, but i wanna eventually finish the Manta

 

Maybe you can set Manta as a joint venture company of Jinhai and Cherrier for producing lower end FCV models separate from Cherrier brand, just like Dacia is a cheap Renault, or Jetta (brand) is a economic car brand of Volkswagen China

 

thats what it is, JinHai is like FAW or GAC, they jst make licesed cars uder their original brand with the same or new name, and some changes like the engine, thats why the MANTA is powered by mk2 pessima i4

 

I think that cheap joint venture cars from the 2020s should not continue to use Japanese engines from the 1990s for Chinese Market. Perhaps lower end models of FCV engines can be used, or electric versions can be introduced to China following the trend of electrification of automobiles.
Also,just like what you say,joint venture cars no usually uses own brand,they usually keep orginal brand,just add the logo of their Chinese partner beside.Of course there are also some joint venture brands that have built dedicated brands, such as Volkswagen Jetta or Nissan Venucia, so I think Jinhai's own logo should only be used for only one joint venture or for Jinhai's own independent brand.Maybe you can design a new brand for the joint venture company between Jinhai and Cherrier?
