??? it's not dead it just doesnt lot properly for now and will be entirely redone properly in a few months or so anyway; there's still like 3 more other yakuza maps available that do work still too
It looks like it is an issue in BeamNG 0.30, after some checking it seems the bug will be fixed in the next game update

The old one is very bad and barely works anymore. The new one will be up in a few months when it's actually finished. You just need to be a bit patient until then, I just forgot to change the thread status.
Now that you're also a part of the BeamNG.Devs, do you think your mod alone warrants the addition of breaker style combat or karaoke rythm games?
Don't give Car Killer ideas, that's the sort of thing I look away for one second and then suddenly he already has half of it ingame using some random forgotten t3d function noone else realised existed or was still about
What do you mean by that? I don't really see a difference in how we make those maps other than missing some lua features on super small "showroom" like maps.
Well, the rest of the japan or Tokyo maps I've downloaded are only used for showroom or scenery and aren't really complete or the map just ends abruptly.
That's how those games are made. Whatever is our source that ends up converted to BeamNG, nothing more nothing less. You need to remember in those games you usually walk, not drive cars so they will feel quite small when you start driving around.
