Lol Yea It's way more work than i thought, but I'm getting there. Currently sorta stuck on the rear suspension
Looks amazing so far. I love it. We need more trucks in beam, soviet too. And the fact its lore friendly makes it even better. Just a suggestion, when you finish this truck and if you plan to make a next truck could I suggest you make a ZiL-130, Ural 5920 or KamAZ 5320? I think it would be nice to see those trucks
Technically you could have left everything based on old T-series and just bundled up your mod with "legacy" t-series zip file.
One thing I will never not hate is when a repo mod requires a forums only mod. I'm pretty sure this is coming out on the repo eventually, and I don't want to have to mess around with extra links and mods.
"i am too lazy to google for 30 seconds and get a forums mod so i'd rather have a creator spend 30 hours recreating his mod"
No, i'm too lazy to look at a repo mod that is supposed to work from the repo, and realize the modder was lazy and made it so it requires something completely random that i will never use in any way shape or form, other than in the mod that requires it, And that this random mod requires a forums search and manual game modding, just so this truck can have old t-series suspension, instead of the new t-series suspension that does not need a mod and is probably better in the first place. In that way, yes I am lazy.
I know its his prerogative to use an outdated suspension system that requires a forums only mod. doesn't mean I have to like it. Frankly using custom suspension would be better at replicating this trucks suspension anyway. So it would be better for everyone, instead of downloading a mod so you can have worse suspension. And he is already making custom suspension based on the pictures, so downgrading to old t-series suspension would be a stupid move.
How come whenever I try to make a point everyone just says "stop complaining" is it because i'm right? Or is it because they believe they will always be 100% unarguably right nomatter how wrong they really are? If I am wrong, then tell me why using the suspension of an old unsuported version of a vehicle that is no longer supported and will probably be broken eventually, is better than using custom suspension or the suspension of the new fully supported version? And plus the guy posted photos of his custom suspension at work, so it would be stupid to put in extra work to replace his hard work with an older suspension just for it to break a couple of updates later, and be worse (and less accurate to the IRL truck) than the original custom suspension?
Well either way... can you tell me 100% honestly, that its smart to use an outdated suspension that will probably break eventually, when you already have most of the work done on a custom suspension that closely replicates the IRL truck. Or that it is smarter to use the unsupported suspension who's life may very well end with the next update, over the newer suspension that is supported. Hey @JosefLien04? Can you tell these peeps that downgrading to an old and unsupported suspension when you already have working custom suspension, is a bad idea?
How come I have not seen this any sooner at all.. Very sick! Hope the author of this mod doesn't give up on working on fixing it 'cuz of the remaster! 10/10
