kueso, im not sure if you could do it, but for any model with a cvt, like the sunburst hybrid, you can add fake shifts if you are in sport mode. like i said, i am not sure if you could do it, just a suggestion. the fake shifts can look like this in sport mode

 

fake shifting CVT's are the worst thing to come out of the auto industry these days lol
they kind of entirely ruin the point of a CVT, plus in the case of the sunburst (especially hybrid), it would make an already slightly clunky and unnatural feeling system (compared to an EV or ICE powered car) even more clunky and unnatural

so no, it wont ever be happening

 

i know what you may be thinking, but some people dont like the droan of acceleration at high speeds, but there could be a reason not to implement it.

 

did you see how pathetic those fake shifts were
its literally just as droney as a regular CVT but with slight dips in RPM

and as i said, the effort required to do fake shifts and the technical drawbacks it would cause in drivability and smoothness for our hybrid system literally isnt worth it
if you want fake shifts for your CVT's go somewhere else, they will not be happening here

 

one question, why doesnt the hirochi sunburst facelift have a coupe variant?

The doors opening feature for the sunburst is not working for me at all, nothing is popping up. Anybody else having the same problem? How can I fix this?

Exactly. Even though I tested the Sunburst (and later the SBR) with automatics and DCTs, the CVT is still smoother. I'd still go with the DCT, even though it is not smooth. Maybe I'll release some pack that adds different transmissions to the Hybrid Sunburst.

 

Little lore question:
Was the Pessima built first, and served as basis for the Zenith? or that the Zenith that was built first and who has served as basis for the first gen Pessima?

zenith runs from 84-86, so technically it was first? more likely was that the platform that both the pessima and zenith were built on existed prior to both of the ingame cars, as the chassis for both are the same
