lag issue

hey, so before version 22 i could run beamng drive on ultra settings, and maintain 60fps with multiple vehicles.. now i cant even use one with out dropping fps.. i have a custom built pc...

specs are:
graphics card: amd RX 5500 XT gaming X 8GB
RAM: 32GB dual channel
1TB samsung evo ssd
1TB HDD
i76700 base clock 3.40GHZ overclocked to 3.80GHZ

im not sure what to change anymore.. ive run every graphic settings.. to 480p and still lag for what ever reason.. all my other games run buttery smooth on ultra.. heck i even did a fresh install of my gpu drivers this morning.. and still lagging... this is on most maps.. cant handle more then one car.. and it bearly handles the one vehicle.. i could use some help to solve this issue.. or if its the game please let me know..

 

I have noticed some performance issues but not this bad and I think it’s from 0.22 update

 

for me its like smooth slow smooth slow.. interms of lag.. but 100 percent 0.22

 

Well you underclocked you cpu. But how the hell can you change the clock? Its a locked processor!

 

has too be the update.. cuz it runs fine with no shadows.. soon as i turn them on instant 40 fps i did some tests on that this week.. sorry im late too the reply!

not sure how i did that tbh and my cpu runs at 3.80ghz so i assume its overclocked its custom built pc so not sure tbh others in this thread have issues too so its not just me

 

I think the person means the boost clock (basically the turbo overclock)
