Released Late Model Stock Car (LMSC) (2020 Updated)

I placed it into the beam.ng mods folder, but it wouldn't load in. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong and being an idiot.

Kinda weird that it doesn't rev as high as it should, but that's okay!

 

It revs to 6400 rpm just like it would in real life. Any higher and you'll wind up snapping a rod like in real life

 

Ah, right, sorry. I just see some NASCARS revving up to 8 ish thousand. Still a good mod none the less

 

This isn't a NASCAR. It's a latemodel stockcar. Big difference. And this engine is literally twice as big as the V8's in the NASCAR you see today. Hence it revs to 5.5k.

A nascar cup car is ALOT different from a late model stock car. Late models are purpose built for short tracks only and are great for rookie drivers who want to make it into nascar some day. Late models use crate engines (in this case a gm 604 crate) which when compared to a professional grade high compression nascar cup engine, is completely outlawed. In other words late models use stereotypical beefy v8's muscle cars use to have back in the 70's like a dodge charger or a road runner. Not to mention late models DO NOT hold up well at impacts over 140+ I've seen lots of injuries from drivers getting in 90+ mph wrecks in late models such as broken backs, legs, concussions, and ribs.

This is more like a NASCAR Gen 4 car, but since it's the only NASCAR car mod (Or well, at least an accurate NASCAR car mod.) I'll take it.

 

Its late model not a cup car. Not to be confused with a super late model. Also please don't bump old threads for little reason.

I know this thread is pretty old, but when you hold the gas and spam T, the car goes way faster, then the engine explodes
