It's a shame that beamng doesn't have a license from LEGO yet, maybe if there is a license, lego vehicles and original lego characters will materialize here.
I don't think they will get a license, but it would be super cool if they had a mutual agreement kinda like they did with Atturo Tires, Lego could make sets of BeamNG vehicles and in exchange their trademark would be allowed in game. But I think it's too big of a company to be interested in this.
question where the bad guys one you supbosed to do that on the old forums you said that you will add a bad guys one so pls add it
It's already in the mod, maybe I should redesign it slightly to resemble the movie version more because it doesn't stand out too much in the config selector
I think you should keep the hatchback for the future because you literaly have a (unfinished) UTE body so it may get hard to work on 2 bodies at Time . --- Post updated --- And thanks for doing the Rolling coal config
The ute is like 1% done, it will stay like this for a while because I don't have good design ideas for it. The hatchback is the easiest body style to add so I'm starting with it.
Early test of the hatchback body made in 1 day. Probably can't make it shorter than this because the exhaust would clip with the rear subframe, and the subframe has to stay as it is or else the rear inner wheel arches would look weird. It's still 20cm shorter than the coupe.
That's what I tried with some of the race configs but due to the suspension being... unique, it's not very possible
The problem is the tires have no pressure due to being solid rubber. (Well there's a bit of pressure for stability reasons but it doesn't do much.)
Hello! I have found a bug in your mod, if you rip the engine out by crashing for example, it becomes a bluetooth engine! (Aka the engine runs when ripped out of the car)
The engine will work like this if you rip it out along with the engine mount. We can assume the mount has all the pedals and stuff on it so technically it could still work. But ripping it off breaks the driveshafts so the car won't drive like that. It's intentional. If you separate the engine and the mount, it will break normally.
I wasn't planning it at first, but I made a panel van based on the hatchback body. This one has BeamCom livery and is loaded with 96kg of unstrapped boxes, and it's still lighter than the base coupe, thanks to some panel van pieces being smaller for more cargo space and therefore lighter. I also put these light pieces on many race configs for weight reduction. Btw I'm still working on the new race suspension too. It's in game now but has many issues that need to be fixed.
