Due to recently coming back for some more modding, learning multi-dae function and getting better at managing textures for models and improving upon jbeam understanding... I wish to make mini-mods for pre-existing cars to practice, I just haven't the ideas to come up with much, I also want to do this to improve my sub-par modeling skills that just aren't that great, but okay to say the least.

I really am dry for ideas right now /=

I can modify but not make a new suspention

/\ Because who can't do these things \/
I can mod engines, and transmissions

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can change wheels for vehicles.

But the real thing that showcases a basic mod I can do can be seen below. [Actually has aerodynamics which is very easy that modify key handling characteristics of the vehicle]

    e30b82718d.jpg 7d1ba30723.jpg

Basically I just want to make things, I know how to do mild jbeam modifications, and am curious to see how far I can go for modding on jbeam structure.

I know to some this is seen as a very basic modification but that is just scratching the surface of what I feel I can do.

I just can't come up with what to do next... Keep in mind that at this point my modeling skills are holding me back polygon and general in-game quality wise due to lack of knowledge on normal-mapping for the game at this moment in time.

I feel I should mention my jbeaming isn't confined to modeling, as this was done traditionally using notepad ++
and modeling is done through blender
separately [all my work is done this way]

Edit: Look at bottom of thread for an update to my modeling.

Would D-15 tires on the bolide be in any way possible? Or even better: dually's?

Re: I want to jbeam... but don't know what to jbeam.

Go ahead and make a full new vehicle!

You'll learn modelling as you progress, take your time, just be patient and don't expect it to finish it in a short time.
Any good BeamNG vehicle has hours and hours behind it, it's such a big challenge, but you'll then learn so much and become almost an expert :p.
Also, normal mapping can also be learnt through the process (and you can always copy/adapt existing suspensions if really needed :p)

The BeamNG community is always eaguer for new vehicles, and there are many vehicle gaps that need to filled :p.

    That's my suggestion :D.

I could look into the matter.

Also: D-15 wheels on the Bolide would be a cakewalk in experimental BeamNG which is my version of choice.

It's one thing to make a mod, but making an entire car is significantly more difficult than making modifications. On top of that you have to be familiar with how the car you're replicating steering, suspension, weight distribution and other variables.

I really like that Bolide with the wings on it. I would like for someone to make a race car of this like a GT2 or something like that.

it is all add-on parts for the bolide with custom suspension, tires [not grip modified buy PSI and toe/tracking adjustments] transmission and two engines from automation that have realistic power, however it needs modiication before I can release it due to over the top downforce causing an unrealsitic top speed of 220-240km/h so I need to find a lower amount of downforce unless you want a bolide that is slower with better grip and 50% better handeling with great acceleration

Super Offroad Late Alpha - Public Release 1
    89ebd9c797.jpg a67fd956fe.jpg

Later on I plan to add some extras for off-road authenticity like a spare tire or something like a Jerry can maybe. [I'll try]

Topping off the package it consists of nothing but add-on parts for the original car, that you can easily spot and delete, has modded suspension, transmission, and 4wd... also supports the Car Selection GUI System to the fullest.

Going to continue to prefect this mod and eventually give it a full deserving beta with it's own thread, so here is an idea of things to come.

Although there will likely be a very early public beta on this page as well with better suspension properties.

-Revised wheels, will be in the next release.

Maybe you could make an offroad covet? a little bit of lifted suspension and d15 offroad wheels? that way we are not stuck to crashing the covet on roads!

    I could look into that
Of course I would have to add 4WD to that as well which is super easy.
it would have to be a project for this afternoon.

Nearly finished rear suspension, rest will be worked on 8 hours from now at the earliest, sorry for the inconvenience. :p

Due to the situation I was able to continue early!
