Love this mod.......until 0.10 broke it.

Will you be updating this as it works(ed) perfectly with the G29 wheel?

    Thanks in advance.

Oh wow... this is actually super smart... this should just be added into the game as a standard feature that can be turned on or off by the dev's... that's really cool!

@Neo : A suggestion; Would it be possible to have to that when using the look left / right, the camera "leans" out that way?
So if you have the door on your left, the camera "leans" to the left so you can see the ground on that side for instance?

This would help when driving offroad with interior camera.

Thanks in advance for the nice mod

Love the mod so far but wanted to ask if you could make it similar to real head motion for Assetto Corsa, very similar concept but you can customize real head motion exactly how you like it and I'd love to be able to do that with yours.

Test it out. Go into the game, then unzip my mod in the mods menu and replace the file in "~User~\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\unpacked\lookahead\lua\ge\extensions\core\cameraModes" with the one in the attachments.

If you mean a deeper customization, I´m working on it. My goal is to get the customization menu either in the settings or in a standalone app. I have to figure out 1) how I can manipulate values and save them and 2) how I can create a interface between my app/the settings and the camera script

Nice, I include this in the next update.

Would it be possible to re-center the camera when changing back from "looking out the window" to "looking out the windshield"? For instance if you look out the window to look down at the road, when chaning back, you look at your feet. :)

I have an idea (I don't know if it's possible or not) but i think it's a good idea :)

So, my idea is to have something like "A second mode" (in case the map doesn't have AI mapping you can just change to the normal mode, or i case you preffer it). This second mode uses the AI path to say where the camera needs to point at... So when you are on a race track, for example, it would feel even more natural than this mod already is.

I hope what I said made sense.

Hmmm, I think that won´t work, because I can only guess in which direction you drive. The Ai knows in which direction it wants to drive and so it can follow the path in that direction. And I think that the Ai waypoints are a little bit too rough to get a smooth camera ride. Anyways thanks for your suggestion
