Released "LookAhead" Interior Camera 2.5

There is a key difference though. This mod follows where you want to go, and the native camera follows where you are going.
I still prefer this mod, as it makes sharp turning easier

 

Also the automatic look back when in reverse is better. Only downside is that UI "hide in cockpit view" seems broken in 0.28.

 

That works just fine for me, you must have something conflicting then

 

This mod should really be updated, the ingame version doesn't do the job correctly

 

Hello Neo, I've been trying for days to rotate the camera based on the steering angle, but the camera always remains still. I haven't installed your mod. Do you recommend installing it?

also if anyone else is having a problem with their "Look Behind" hotkey not working while on this camera mode, just open the ZIP file of the mod and go to lua\ge\extensions\core\cameraModes and then open driveAhead.lua.

search for (lookBack) and change it to (data.lookBack), it should work by then.

 

hey, i know this hasnt been talked about in about a year but i was wondering if there was any way to make the angle more aggressive? i read through it and i havent seen anything on it, or im just blind. i want to use it for drifting and i can see where im going but i cant see if im about to ram the wall with my back end and i think its kinda annoying. thanks guys!

where is it, im too stupid to find it or its on a different version. im on the most recent version im pretty sure and i couldnt find anything like the mod any help would be awesome

 

It's somewhere dude I don't remember but its pretty easy to find
