Re: Update:[2/18] Progress on Engine ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R While the vehicle may be tiny, it needs all of that detail for it to look good! Nothing can hide from us in this! Keep it up though, and I hope the body looks just as good as the engine!
Re: Update:[2/18] Progress on Engine ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Hopefully the body should look good, I'll have the plastics seperated in 5 pieces, the rear piece, gas tank, front piece, fenders, and the hood. And yes it does have a hood, there are many aftermarkets you get even get for it! Trust me when I finish this thing i'll be making a few add ons
Re: Update:[2/18] Progress on Engine ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Current n/b structure and parts config. (WIP Obviously) (imported from here)
Re: Update:[2/18] Progress on Engine ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R It's looking pretty good Sam! I'd raise those nodes on the bottom of the front bumper up some tho. More clearance the better - - - Updated - - - I have invited the first 20 members to the group. Check your inbox and see if you were selected. More people will be invited eventually. As of right now its very limited though. Working on the carb
Re: Update:[2/18] Progress on Engine ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Loving the updates and everything! It's looking awesome. Can't wait to put this thing through a serious torture test..
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Motor is Almost finished! A few more details and the mounts and some more fixing up and it'll be finished!
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R I'm loving this thread and how you are running it. Constant updates are something that I really like seeing. Great work.
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R I am soooo excited! I will definitely be smashing the hell out of this with Sam's car crusher! But after mudding in it of course!
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Got some time to do some more work, finished up the chain and the sloppy but gettin the job done gear cover.
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Just wondering, will the chains and gears actually move?
Re: Update:[2/20]Engine Almost Finished! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R The chain no, it will move with the rear suspension up and down though The gears possibly, the Rear Gear definitely I just made a simple low res place holder for the chain. I wont be going fully in depth on it. I still need to model the plastics and the seat and the handle bars etc. - - - Updated - - - The engine is now mounted in place! - - - Updated - - - Guys important question, Electric Start or Kick Start?
Re: Update:[2/21]Engine is Mounted!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R I was thinking about doing kick start. Mine is electric and i like it tho irl lol.. Anyways the Motor is finshed, only things left are the radiator and the hosing to it.
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R I agree that the electric start is more modern and convenient... just for some reason, the kick start adds a bit of macho-ness...
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Just starting on the plastic lines for a test to see if im skilled enough to make the plastics lol. Trying to draw out the area.
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R so exited for this that i would smash something if it made it come faster!
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R You are plenty skilled enough (does that even make sense? lol) to make the plastics! It may be like modeling a mini Lambo, but it is doable for you!
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R There will be some new progress here soon. Getting ready to swap my pc mobo etc and get back to my z77+3770k setup MSi finally replaced my motherboard and I just got it in the mail today!
Re: Update:[2/22]Engine Finished!!! ;D - 2014 Honda TRX450R Nah no talent at all, Felt like making some progress on the rear plastics, look terrible imo, just trying to get the shape and scale of it together. Little Show off by Drowsy: Need to finish the shape so I can add the body lines in the plastic.
