You most definitely do need to ask since you just took his entire mod and are trying to pass it off as your own, which in itself is wrong because you aren't doing any of the work and basically uploaded it to try and get someone else to fix it for you.
And just stop calling it “Russian”. It’s not. The model was taken by @Tsutarja495 but he converted it and made it into a full mod.
Okay you're getting this wrong. Basically, A. I'm not passing this off as my own work. B. I Got it off from a Russian site and not from him directly or in the fourms. C. I'm in the middle of asking for use to learn Jbeam. Releasing this mod is another can of worms. For now this mod is for personal use only until A. I get permission, and B. It doesn't matter where you got the mod, you didn't make it and therefore don't have permission to release it regardless of whether or not you changed it. If this mod isn't going to be released, then message a moderator to have the thread taken down
Basically, you are asking for help with modeling and you plan to give money in return. Do the modeling yourself and keep the money. And please stop wasting other people's time with this nonsense.
But you won't. The Russians have nothing to do with anything. It's Tsutarja's GTR that the Russians stole Well solve that problem by learning how to model.

Because I wouldn’t pay someone to do the work for me. I would learn if I had the time and patience. But I have neither of those.
I know plenty of other people here who have learned how to model who are also very busy with work and school. Learning to make your own model is good for you and shows that you actually care about putting effort into your mod instead of wanting someone to make it for you. No one is going to help you if you don't make an effort. Taking someone else's model doesn't count as effort and won't get you any help.
Ok, let's get this straight When the first settlers came to the west, they couldn't just pay people to get stuff done, they had to build their own houses, get their own food, etc, this was hours of labour with the only rest being a nine hour power nap and two meals a day consisting of as much protein as one plain quarter pounder each with nothing else Here you are, 200 odd years later, complaining that you don't want to use your hours of free time to move a mouse and click buttons so you can make an imaginary car, no, pay some to do it...
Not to mention the fact that clicking those buttons to make that imaginary car really is rather fun and honestly a good way to wind down after a full day of the education system.
Dude I learned to model in 5 minutes of freetime at school. Over the months I got better and better, and trust me, it was not to hard but it took time, everybody can learn I made this while I was in class last year.
