WIP Mafia Lost Heaven Countryside

I would simply add AI but if the city was merged with the countryside map it would just make the FPS sink even lower. If the city were a separate map, however, it might work a bit better. But for the AI to work properly (AKA not slam into buildings when you go around the corner) it would have to be all mapped out for them, and I don't know how willing the OP would be to do all that.

 

Find :::: meshCulling = "0";

and make it ::::::: meshCulling = "1";

For an FPS boost.

If you use any of the official maps skyboxes, like the gridmap for exemple, it would be fine. They have dark mountains and grounds, while the one you use has a white ground.

 

I'm just curious, how's the progress on this? It would be a pity if this became unsupported..

+ can we expect the separate release of just the circuit part of the map sooner or later?

I hope this is still supported but the fences and the guardrails at the racetrack like to eat cars.

The guardrail at the racetrack startline sucks you in if you bump into it.

 

that is a well known issue, you need to learn to drive without crashing

 

Sorry if this was answered before, but will you import the city too? I loved Mafia, one of my favorite games and Lost Heaven is one of the best cities in video games

 

Just listening to the great sounds coming out of this radio..

 

Despite being a much much older game from like 15 years ago, this translated suprisingly well and will be quite fun when it's done with. It's already quite a hoot.

 

Wow, my most favorite game of all times!!! I cannot thank you enough for this xD Really, I spent a few years of my youth in Lost Heaven! Vehicles with fuel, manual transmission and clutch was revolutionnary for that time! The quality of the Story and the whole grafics were unbelivable (in comparision to GTA3 a milestone)... This map brings back the best memories!
As mentionned before: The whole game imported would be awesome!
