Now, after several failed map designs (Small city, Cape Town city, now working on a large island), i was thinking about map project, made by a community of volunteers in their spare time (including the devs). (Now before you ask, i know about the engine's limitations. I'm also not asking for people to make me a map, no). This came into my mind one normal day, after my experiences with Primo3001's American Road and the upcoming Italy map. The map is going to take place in a fictional Montenegro-themed place. names, scenery, so forth. Maybe members of the community work on the map together. It won't be an island by the way. And probably due to the engine's limitations, we will probably have to scale it down to 1:4, 1:8 or even 1:16 if the engine limitations are bad. (my current plan is a 40KM*40KM map, by the way) And why Montenegro out of all the countries in the world? The terrain, diverse geography, its location in the Balkan peninsula and scenery. Also the desire for a vast and realistic road (and highway) network similar to those of ETS2, which should be easy to pull of in BeamNG, in my opinion. So do you think BeamNG deserves a large map with vast features? Tell me what you think!
