Yeah, with doors, hood, boot lid and glass 72 kg is not happening. :D

Do you measure the weight with a full tank of petrol or empty?

Full, with an empty fuel tank the stripped config is 506kg now.

well, we are at least getting closer.

When you measure the chassis weight do you count just the body or the body and the suspension.

Chassis + suspension (no wheels) is 337kg (still with full fuel tank), idk why my suspension is so heavy tbh

I think that the body is maybe too heavy… Body of the Škoda 1000 MB weights around 230 kg and that's a car that is over 4 meters long. Arguably the absence of doors also helps.

So mine should be about 250-300 counting the suspension then? It needs some serious weight reduction if so

I think that with a full fuel tank and the suspension it should probably weight around 300 kg.

Wow. That is a REALLY light car. I thought the tata nano, Renault kwid and the suzuki 800 we had here were light lol. That thing is.. well. Light.

Well, the Pigeon is 560kg, so even less... And the new car in game will probably be even lighter

Wait, are you counting the rear support bar all this time? I wasn't counting it and it's extra 7 kg (no idea how accurate this is)

Nah, that’s nothing if you want to see something light just look at the Renault Dauphine; at 394 cm it weights only 630 kg and it shows:

Still, I’d love to own one, heck I would even use it as my daily driver!

Yes, I’ve been counting it too, that, however, isn’t that massive difference.

So to summarize, I should get the chassis + suspension + fuel tank combo to 300, then with the engine, transmission , wheels and all it would be like 400-something more or less, then I'll need to get all the body panels working again with reduced weight so the whole car without an interior is around 530-something, and with the interior it should all get to 600. I'm too tired to continue this today, I'll start tomorrow.

Also now I found out that there was a concept SUV version that looks nothing like the original

Edit: I meant to post it on the other Maluch thread lol but it's fine here too, obviously I'm not making this in game

Looks like it's got a bit of the front that looks like the Nissan S-cargo

Since I’m very combi centric (estate, wagon call it what you want) I always liked this one.

Back at work, I was extremely annoyed by the fact that every time I had to change something in the doors I had to do it separately for all 6 door types (both left and right door for each type), and also the fact that the cabrio doors had the wrong handles, so I separated all the doors into parts and made all the details customizable, now I have 4 main door types instead of 6 and you can do a lot more customization.

It still is, model-wise. I make the Jbeam as organized as possible, previously everything was in random massive files and it was hard to find anything:

I have way more files but way smaller and it's easy to find everything:

Probably using folders would help you

Default vehicles don't have any folders, and that's for a good reason, they only make stuff harder to find

I understand. Maybe choosing the archive name right would be enough to organize things
