Having 300+ maps, it is quite overwhelming going through the entire list. I've imagined if we select freeroam, for example, instead of all of my maps showing, there would be "tags", like sorting by folders, but they're not actual folders, just a clickable selection instead of a map thumbnail for the list in the UI. Each tag is of course nameable and will contain whatever maps you choose to attribute to that tag. More than one tag can be applied to a map, of course (ex: Tennessee can be under Towns, Highways, and Real Areas) . This makes choosing maps simple. Just click the tag, boom - your selected maps show up. Example of folders: Race Drift Drag Rally Offroad Towns Highways Mountains Snow Ice Dirt Mud Rain Anti-Gravity Existing Areas Official Maps Imported PC Game Maps Test Maps Misc/Abstract Maps Old/Missing texture/Broken Maps
You kinda mess everything up when you start thinking about maps with more than one purpose tho, dont you? Unless the point is using them less as categories and more as tags.
