So long as said Texan doesn't mind the idea of a drift truck, I'd recommend the Nissan D21 "Hardbody". Same engine as the 240SX, and with a low enough center of gravity to handle turns well. Also, there's less weight over the rear wheels, so drifting becomes much easier. How about ...
