i remember this mod use to have it .cough cough got it from world of mods and it always had the no texture thing and you really dont enjoy driving a bus with that . so im happy to see there is a new and improve one
Hi SwagMaster11 A nice mod, and a much needed addition to BeamNG. My suggestions are: - Increase the grip of the tires, it's easy to skid and difficult to tip over. It's a modern chassis so the center of mass is fairly low, but it should not behave as a car. Tire pressure should probably be a little lower too, 5 bar seems the sweet spot. - Make the suspension more damped (dampened?), especially in rebound/extension. This will achieve two goals: the front axle will better maintain contact to the ground over rough terrain, and the "bussy rock oscillations" will become slower, more bus-like and less Grand Marshal-esque. Also I adapted the Dansworth 1500 Powertrain Mod to this bus, and it works very nice together. If both of you authors are OK with it, I can post the modded mod in this thread. If you want, I can also make some nice engine curve for this. I was thinking to go for some discontinued IVECO engine and one of those mounted on the Mercedes O405N, since the side window shape is similar (and pretty elegant for a bus IMO). Lemme know
I made screenshots that represent all the features of the mods with text! Reply to me in private and I will send them right over to you ( ps. I would like to be credited ) Here is an example! (for the front page) --- Post updated --- **Do not worry, the ones I will send you will be High-Res
Great bus personally I would love to see the interior and dash much more detailed. Maybe make the dials on the dashboard work?
This mod could really have been put on to the official BeamNG website with some time and effort by its original creator, but sadly russian modders for BeamNG are too lazy to continue after making the vehicle work and drive, and usually the mod will only last for 1 game update, I had a Opel Astra mod but sadly the jbeam was based on the Grand Marshall (basically a Ford Crown Victoria jbeam for a small 2010 hatchback) but it is great to see this mod being brought back.
I got permission from SwagMaster11 and Michaelflat to upload the mod containing the Maz and the Dansworth 1500 drivetrains. All credits go to the authors. I added a couple of electric engines just for fun. BEWARE THE FUNNY NOISES if you use the electrics, I tried to only keep the transmission whine but I couldn't manage it Anyway here it is, the first Mazworth bus that's also Electric if you want:
