I'm having the same problem that I have on Akron... The track works, but after some seconds, the screen freezes and I can only hear the car, when I try to close the game it says that the game stopped responding again my specs are: i7 2600k 3.8ghz GTX 560 ti 8gb ram
Same here i5 2500 3.4GHz GTX 470 AMP 16gb ram This happens on this map and the 14km oval, rarely on other user-created maps, never on stock maps.
Thank you for your fast answer Skiper. What do you mean by reset beamng? Desinstall re-install? I have the last update. Work only with all settings at lowest.
I'm not sure but it could be a problem with the game itself. Many maps don't work for me and I'm sure they worked before. I ran the updater, it "resets" all the game files. Then I ran the cleanup.bat file. Still no change. Seems to work fine on lowest settings. EDIT: Weird.. All I did was editing the SSAO shader settings, then saved it as a preset. Now it works perfectly fine, even on highest settings and postFX. EDIT EDIT: Aaaand it stopped working. Now I can't even accelerate.
For those of you that are having the freezing issue.. it happened to me and I just pressed ctrl+alt+del and opened the task manager and then closed the task manger and by doing that I un-froze the game. I think that the asphalt has too much grip...everything (civetta, pickup, ibishu covet sport etc.) bounces around under braking, cornering and even accelerating
I don't think so, but the fact that the dirt behaves like asphalt is weird and annoying. A fix would be great! worked, thanks! had to do this once, the game ran fine for more than 30 minutes then. <-- this is collidable. not good.
Everything on high, no problems, multiple laps. Seriously cool map, thank you so much. (imported from here) (imported from here)
Alright, you converted the track, not much work into that, but at least you could have smoothed the track, no?
have problems with the display on AMD. again. although i am can try - - - Updated - - - I already have plans
.. Or he could make the next track himself, from what I know he uses 3DS Max, it has everything you need to make a racetrack, and he will get some satisfaction for making something himself and people compliments for what he really did. Why not?
