The cars I'd love to put in BeamNG:

My W/S202 models, my C208 CLK. I have made many parts for the CLK of which some in reality would fit the 202 as well.
For both my C Class and CLK models I have made AMG bumpers. The engines are interchangable. The wheels are interchangable. The gauges are. Many parts are, so for that reason I think these models are very suitable for BeamNG. I have started with the W202 C Class.

    C Class so far:

Considering both the C Class and CLK have double control arm front suspension info on front axle and multilink rear suspension info on rear axle which existing BeamNG car would suit best to use as a base and how to get access to it?

Not likely, as ETK represents BMW. I will either release it in original state, or rebadge them MKNB like I did with the wheels:

The weight of these cars lies between 1250kg for the C180 sedan up to about 1520kgs for AMG CLK

ETK represents several german brands, not only BMW.

It would have to be the ETK wagon, except you might do well to ask the creator of the ETK sedan mod for his car.

Bernd made the sedan IIRC, and NinetyNine based the S-series off that with Bernd's permission.

I love these cars! You have a bit of work ahead but at least you have the full model done so that cuts down on the work

We used to have one of the C220's, until it dies on us! We now have the new shape C220. Love these cars and really hope they get released!

I've been wanting more Mercedes-Benz Cars in BeamNG, irl I want a 1990 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5L, or I want a a new G-class but I'm a BIG Mercedes fan, so I'm really hyped for this

If it turns out even close to how it was in RoR, it would be amazing. I loved that car back in that game. Good luck!

I am completely stuck with modding the Jbeam file. I have permission from Bernd to use his ETK800 Sedan as a base but so far I haven't even been able to get a renamed copy working ...

I renamed the Zip file and "vehicles/etk800" into "vehicles/C_CLK". When spawning the renamed copied car it doesn't load anything...

What is required to get a copy with a different folder name working so I can start making changes without conflicting with the ETK800 Sedan?

    EDIT got it working
