The trunk gap is a Jbeam issue. The backwindow because I have reworked the shape of c-pillar, backwindow and roof, but so far just placed the window and havent updated the body and roof meshes yet. So that will be fixed soon! As for the doors you are right, it will no longer be a gap once the inside of the doors is modelled.
Yea, it is too early, but a polizei version would be nice maybe! However, at this point it is not possible to skin the car..
It's.... Somewhere. @MitchellKnb didn't post the download link on the first post in order to make people search for it.
JBeam seems way too strong for a car like this, if you ask me. This was after a 50% overlap crash at 65 mph:
Yeah, thats because its based of a modern car (ETK 800), not sure why Mitch didn't base it off the I series, however the strength can of course be fixed anyway with a little more work.
I based it on the etk800 because of the suspension of the 800. It has multilink rear suspension, just like the W202. I will weaken the car eventually. Also keep in mind that I have reduced the weight from 1600+ kgs to around 1300 kgs, which reduces kinetic energy in a crash.
I am not a slave of the forum, you can judge from the pictures what the car looks like, if you really appreciate the work, you don't mind searching for it. It won't take more than 5 minutes to find it. This has nothing to do with reputation, it has to do with appreciation. --- Post updated --- Shiny and now breakable glass
The download is on page 1. Just scroll down. Doing the community a favor so they don't get confused like I did.
he did put a lot of efort into it p/s mitchellknb are you going to fi nish and add all the cars in this pic???????????? eventualy take your time p.s plz add a extreamly overpowerd vetion like 50L V20 Engine --- Post updated --- cuz why not
No I wont, but the most powerful engine for the W202 will eventually be the 5.4L V8 with around 360 hp. I will also add aftermarket superchargers so it'll be fast. But we're talking in the very future here. For now I want to complete the car first. I do plan on all of them, yes.
