Outdated Mercedes-Benz C Class W202

Did you use Blender, Sketchup, or Max to make this?

 

AFAIK he uses SketchUp to do the main model, and Blender to organise and tidy up for importing

The EU-spec W202 Esprit and US Spec W202 "Luxury" came with 15 inch Deneb wheels. I tried making the Mercedes Deneb wheels.




But somehow they look off... I am not satisfied with the look they have... However I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes it look odd..
What do you think?

 

Maybe because theyre not so shiny and it does look a bit of but i too cant really put my finger on it. The only thing i see that doesnt look quite right in the holes area

 

I think the spokes are a little bit to deep into the wheel.

 

Found the problem! The hub was too small.

This is exactly why I'm not updating it. Whenever I update it and work on it again, so it gets even nicer, people will start asking for a new beta. I will update it whenever I feel like it. Just keep an eye on the thread.

Found this and the Old Beta. Im i missing something?

 

Yea, you are.

 

Since this is a beta, here are some things i found

Tachometer is not there. i think it was on the older beta

Trunk hatch is a bit offset. is more evident on the c180 config.

Also, you did a excelent work on the rework of the front end but, shouldnt the large lights light up a bit more, or the highbeam lights should be a little less bright.

Brake rotor is a little bit off from the hub.
(dont take me wrong here, i love this mod as it is, and i want it to get better)

 

These are all things I'm aware of. I share the beta mostly for you just to enjoy. The tacho thing I noticed after uploading. Select the White tacho in the partselector (it will be a black one anyways) and you have a workimg tacho. The headlights act funny, the taillights do too, they're different every time you reload the car. At this point I don't know what causes this.
