    The system can be easily adapted to eventually make custom sounds possible, in fact I designed it with that use case in mind. But as you correctly pointed out, our sound system is just starting to get better, so there's probably still some time before we start working on something like exhaust specific sounds.
    But rest assured this can be easily used for a lot of sound related things. :)

    Nope, certainly not at this point, there are more pressing things to do :)

    I can almost guarantee that hutch drew it. Hes a very good artist and the style is very similar to his.

    ot: The engine thermal sim looks really good. It's defiantly going to add another layer of immersion .

    by how they said it in the dev blog it could be a pre production concept of Utah and it could be conning out in the next few updates (the map).

    Any chance of fixing the low poly meshes to line up with collision? Town on low mesh quality is not too pleasant to drive in, its been ignored when I've reported it before. Cars can clip through roads near spawn etc

    This is an issue with the way the engine currently handles lods, it's being looked into currently (on lowest the game skips the top lod by default which is particularly bad for something like the ECA town).

    So, I've been messing around with blender painting abilities.
    It reveals to be a pretty useful tool for painting skins.

    When you make a skin working on a 2D skin, you go against some problems like seams, stretching, etc.
    For example, if you want to add a shape that is across two body parts, you have to spend quite some time to allign everything.
    Problems that can be easily solved by painting in 3D. And here comes Blender to save the day.

    This technique reveals pretty handy when trying to do something a bit more complex that would be complex to achieve if painting on a 2D image.
    But it comes with a few negative points, such as heavy aliasing (the biggest issue probably, heavy limiting when this tool can be used), and the need to have a 'library' of shapes (You know Forza livery editor thing?)
    So I had to create a small collection.

    Everything ready and set, fast-forward some hours ahead, the skin above was completed :)
