    So awesome to see this new benchmark :)

    But when are you planning on adding the actual content of the game, i mean it need a lot more cars and a few more maps, and let's not forget a proper A.I. ?

    And the map, quite sure sam wants to finish Jungle Rock Island before starting another.

    Would love to see these benchmarking and system reporting tools in a stand alone version or even in the demo for users looking to buy BeamNG :)

    That is the plan :)

    We already created a mini 20MB proof-of-concept stripped down engine for this purpose.

    The update scheduled for Friday delays more and more, we keep finding little things to fix up :\

    New advanced / developer mode:



    Also, ability to disable inter-vehicle and self-collisions resulting in a big speedup

    Hi,

    I have a question about physic management, I know that currently the physic is managed by CPU and I know that if I have an old CPU it affects on the simulator performance also if I have the best video card (currently I have a G1 Gaming GTX 970).

    I just want to know if in the future is planned the management of the physic by Physx that is present on the nvidia's cards, it "should" improve the performance also on old CPUs, was my thoughts corrected?
    what do you think about this?

    I do not know if the topic was treated in the past or if there is a specific thread (I tried to find it).

    anyway, thank you for this thread which will give me info every day!!! ;)

    we are looking into running our physics on the GPU, but this will not happen for quite a while

    Physics on GPU?

    Must be new technology, i can't see how a GPU can do that :confused:
