Post Updated 09/12/2020 started doing finalizing touches on the interior, texturing in progress. added a few new screenshots Post updated 11/21/2018 I've been tearing into this this the last couple days, the model is looking pretty good, i'll soon be able to progress to interior modeling
Oooh, interesting choice! The shape looks pretty good already. Can't wait for the 4-rotor, 500Ci wankel!
Not bad but i see proportions errors, maybe you noticed them as well already. On the side view with the photo comparison, look at where the windshield base is on the photo and imagine a vertical line to the front wheelarch. Then do the same with your model. On the photo the wheel arch almost begins where the windshield ends, just a small overlap, and on your model the wheelarch end is almost on the same place as the windshiel base. If it's not clear here is an image : I feel like you front wheel arch is not enough large, your front end after it is longer than on the real car.
Yeah the pictures here are already obsolete. The current version looks a lot closer Edit Yeah these picture are so old it hurts me
This is a very unique project that I'd never expect to see on the forums. Now that it's here, I am very happy! Keep up the great work!
i Do, I'm trying to move away from reusing beamng stock assets. It helps make the cars feel more individual
I'm doing my best to make it feel the way the engineers described. I don't have much to go off of, just weight and peak power, and that it accelerates smoothly
