As soon as I seen the Miramar I knew it would look good as a limousine. So after 5 hours of modeling and jbeaming I now have a 80% complete limo version of it. Will release beta after more adjustments
Looks fun to play with :3. Just one question. are the model and jbeam just stretched or have you added vertices and new jbeam nodes for good deformation?
I'd say 5 hours of work can't be just stretching, i could do a streched car in half an hour if it's just nodes and vertices moving. Edit: but looking at the jbeam shown in the first pics i don't see nodes in the middle of the new section, but i'm not good enough in jbeaming to tell if it's good or not. Must depend on the way forces values are set up i guess.
@D-Troxx and @sergouil-delta88 , yesterday it was just stretched jbeam wise @sergouil-delta88 most of the 5 hours is on the mesh, making sure it looked good and correct, and I'd like to see you make one, there's be no way of saying you did or didn't but if you say half an hour you could record that and upload it, seen as you've made so much stuff, and I'm not offended and no offense intended but the pic says alot
Hey this is a misunderstanding. I was just answering to the above comment, to say that doing a limo is work and that 5 hours was a proof you did work on it, not just stretch. You just answered you spend 5 hours only on the mesh, so keep on the good work on it. We're telling the same thing. I wasn't here to tell who is the faster on doing such stuff. If i told that, it's because i'm doing a car for the game, and it took me half an hour (or maybe an hour, it doesn't matter) to have just a very quick limo of it, just stretched for fun. No records, sorry . As expected it wasn't crashing properly. So i when saw your jbeam i was wondering if the jbeam worked well or not in this configuration, thinking about my own stuff. Sorry for writing while thinking. What i leave on the forum is a proof of anything though, i didn't posted any Wip for a reason, i don't like unfinished stuff. So it will be shown when near to release (the only thing i can tell is it's near to release in fact, a little bit of work further on it and it will be done) If i knew it could offend you i would avoided replying, i thought my intentions were clear, sorry. Also i'm french so the limitations of my english could be part of that.
Thanks, and no offense was taken, and sweet, hope to see it when it gets released, and I know some french as well, if that makes it easier for you
okay thanks. In addition to the wip and unfinished stuff i spoke about, i wasn't talking about quality when saying unfinished, but just that i wanted to avoid the classical Wip(i'm beginning a car)>On Hold (i have work to do and i'll get back on it when possible) > Cancelled (sorry it's too much work and if somebody wants to do the jbeam etc etc..). So if my stuff is cancelled, nobody would ever know it was begun. Anyway, can't wait to try your limo !
well since it was a cool concept i thought that i should give it a quick bump So @adrian2013 are you still working on this thing or has life gotten in the way?
Can't wait to paint it a shiny black and stick some flags on the front. President's rolling through! Beep Beep! Then it'll get T-boned by a D15. Ouch.
ya isnt it easier to stretch it? but i know where u are comng from, the covet limo (old) is weird to crash because its just stretched
It's way easier to just stretch it but that often results in Russian-quality deformation. So if' it's to be a good mod, it'll need it's own jbeams.
