Is it using the same trick as Johnson Valley? If so, how difficult would it be to make some highway loop around the map?
These are just 3D objects, such as houses, such a highway can be made on any road, but it will not be beautiful, low-polygonal, and may have a bad effect on the characteristics
Hi! Yes, this technique is similar to it, but not 1:1. The map already has a big loop and several roads. I wanted to make the playable area bigger with a little cheating. I know, it will be visible—you will be able to see where the 3D mesh starts—but still, you will be given a little but bigger map. So, take it as just a plus for those who want to drive out of the actual terrain.
It's not like you can't notice that on Johnson Valley. There's a visible drop in sand texture quality too, and I don't see it as much issue as long as it doesn't affect the road in any significant way.
This map looks so cool, I can't wait for it, and also a question, do you intends to make the city of Salt Lake City too?
Looking very solid far! Good to know that there are missions, but can we expect time trial as well? Because I'd like to see that added, especially offroad ones.
I like how this is, With using the Utah's map resources along with your creative structuring. I cant say how much that this would be exciting to multiple people including me! Good luck along your journeys with this! cant wait to see all the progress that was made!
Thank you very much for your kind words! I also cannot wait to release it! --- Post updated --- Thank you! I learned from official maps, also from my previous mistakes to make a better map this time! --- Post updated ---
