I made a mod engine using Automation that is more or less a clone of the GM Vortec 8100 V8 engine. Using any automatic transmission just results in the engine redlining in 1st gear and refusing to shift up. I managed to get the engine itself to run perfectly and be ok with a manual transmission in realistic mode, but I know absolutely nothing about modding transmissions. After a few failed attempts to edit gear ratios, I gave up and decided to ask here. How would I modify an automatic transmission/anything in arcade mode to behave with this engine?
