i am wanting to make a mod of my own, does anyone know of a decent tutorial
what other link would i click to find out how to make rims?
these tutorials make me feel more stupid then normal
--- Post updated ---
so after some time i decided to do a skin
seems easy enough
Yup and skins are fun to make
Yes, skins are a great way of getting started. I am still learning to mod too...
currently I have made:
A basic skin
A colourable skin
A colourable skin with non colourable sections
Now I’m going to learn to make a simple part with a simple jbeam, or work on a map...
I suggest you should do something similar as you progress, taking it in steps is much easier
do you know another way to make skins (other than paint.net)
I make them in photoshop cs6
Personally I use Corel Paintshop Pro 2018 and convert skins to a .dds through a paint.net plugin.
It’s just a matter of personal preference, depending what program you feel most comfortable with.
is it free tho
The paint.net plugin is free, Corel is not. However you can sometimes get Corel incredibly cheap in Humble Bundle bundles.
U have free trial option u can try it
the paint.net isn't free tho, look
go on official site
Paint.net is free if you download it from their website, not on the Windows Store.
should i use this one instead
