For those who are unfamiliar, SLRR is an old racing game (2003 if I remember correctly) with highly detailed tuning and a lot of interesting cars to mess with. Recently there was a DLC for the steam version which added some HD versions of the old cars which I think would be really cool to see. SLRR cars (like the Duhen Sunstrip) have been made into mods in the past, so I think these new high-poly models would work quite well:
Lets see, first is clearly Sunburst, 2nd is Barstow, third is a Covet (there is a 5 door version as a mod). SLRR kind of map would be nice wit ring road going around it, I'm not sure if Italy will be like that.
Ooh, didn't know such existed in Beam, that Del sol knock off was my favorite go fast vehicle in SLRR, it didn't last long, but with right parts you got it really really fast.
They do look quite similar, although I think the shimutshibu (1st picture) looks more like a lancer evo than the sunburst and I think it'd be neat to have more hatchbacks. Looking back at it though, I think the Prime DLH (Muscle car) wouldn't be necessary.
I think that Sunburst would need just some minor bumper, lights, fender work to be quite close to shimutshibu, but also I think cars do need rivals too!
Ask the old & new devs of SLR:R about copyright & porting the cars to BeamNG & then put them yourself into the game

I'd still ask the previous devs just in case... Because it doesn't hurt to send the same mail but to another company
