I never buy stuff online, I only go for models I find on local toyfairs, stores or fleamarkets. Found my Escalade at a classic car fair that also featured some modelcar vendors
I haven't had much luck with catching toy fairs due to my schedule. Did get some luck with a couple stores and also flea markets in the past, but my go-to guy moved, and nobody else hasn't really matched what he usually carried. Anyways, couple new arrivals.
This is most of the stuff ive being buying over the past 2 weeks. i got a few old 60’s lesney work trucks from an antique shop, they are really cool I got a few nice 2nd hand sports cars, most seen here bought today and ill attach a pic of an old asda truck i found on the street last year i got other stuff but at 9:15 pm im not gonna sort them out for now lol And of corse, feel free to ask any questions about them if you have any also if anyone remembers the car i posted in the astro thread (this) yes i still have it EDIT: its nice too see this thread alive again
Flea market was open today This is most of what i bought all together i think it was 6£, The old red hotwheel is a 1980’s mercedes 540k, looks good but is in meh shape. I got the middle of the 3 cars in a random box for 50p, the other 2 i got for a pound together, the one on the right is from 1987. The 6 at the bottom were on a table for 50p each, i think they were owned by a kid as they had a few scratches and chips, but meh I’ll collect the most wrecked of hotwheels lol. I really need to think about getting rid of some of the weird make cars i dont want anymore. Over at least 13 years when i was given a hotwheel by a friend who found it in his desk ive collected them. I have at least 4000 die cast cars, it does sound like a lie but if you saw them all you would believe me As always, feel free to ask any questions, i have nothing else too do so why not lol. Spoiler: Bonus pic of a shed mock up ive had in the background of a couple of pics
I love those situations. Recently I grabbed a Hot Wheels Ferrari 360 Modena with a Coca Cola livery out of a box with scrap models for 1€, just to find out that it was a limited model for Italy only and good ones go for 80+ bucks. Sadly mine's in bad shape, but it's still a rare piece That's the new Solido model, right? Had it together with the orange one in my hand at the last fair, would have loved to buy one, but I did spend too much that day already... A little scenery in the garden
Got this and another old hotwheel (right) and this beetle thing --- Post updated --- Ok now thats cool edit: took one look in a draw next to me and found these which i forgot existed.
I got this picture. these are 1/18 (the small suburban is a 1/64. basically, a hot wheel's size.) I got 1/18, 1/24 1/ 32 1/43 1/64. --- Post updated --- here is a scale for people who don't know. left to right. 1/64, 1/43, 1/25 and 1/18
Update on it: Jeez new matchbox suck, ive had it since october i think and its been sitting on my desk since and the paint is literally falling off on the polizei parts, wth. I would attatch a pic, but my camera is so bad i dont think there is any point as it would not show up on the camera lol

Desk redesign, going old school i also have a weird car that has a strange story behind it, A few years ago i was on the beach when i found a car buried in the sand, it was rusty, paint was shedding and the wheels were bent. This: I got it and put it away for a while and forgot about it, i found it again today and only now i realised that this must of been in the sea for atleast 5 years, it’s incredibly smooth like sea glass and pebbles, i wonder how it got in the sea
lamborghini miura matchbox from 1970 My addiction is too much, I got 17 just today, including a rather interesting one.
