If you can, go for it. That orange and white really pops. It'd look real nice next to that Matador in my opinion.
(Double post moment) I wouldn't say I'm a Disney Cars fan but there's a handful of characters I'm trying to collect. Naturally, I started with the more difficult to get one. Only ones I could find for sale were in the USA, she's already expensive since she's "chase" (and not "super chase" thank god) but shipping to the UK doubled the price. Still, totally worth it - she's absolutely mint and hasn't got any awful decal issues that usually plague these diecasts.
I didn't get the Matador, instead, I got a Ford Gran Torino Brougham. I also grabbed a Ford LTD wagon. (I also got those trucks)
here are some of my new arrivals: 1. 1/18 mercedes a-class LWB the normal a-class is nice but i love this dark red with the amg looking wheels so i got the LWB version, 2. 1/18 2003 Lincoln navicross concept, now i love this one, i really think this lincoln could have made it as a production car but only if they got rid of the weird but awsome split in two tailgate, also this car makes me think, if the lincoln mkz and the honda crosstour had a baby this would be it, by the way, 3. some vintage matchbox lesney cars from the 60s from left to right, blue ford zodiac, gold opel diplomat, and teal ford zephyr
thanks! i got the 2 1/18s on ebay after a long search for ones reasonably priced and the matchbox are from a local antique store
right now i've lost count of how many cars i have, i just know that 4 years ago i had 150 (just hotwheels), it's a colection that i've been making since i was 3/4 years old
Random paint covered Porsche 911 I found It sits on my desk I found it while cleaning up trash at a little league game my brother was playing in EDIT: That feeling when you realize that it’s not a 911 nor a rare Hot Wheels
you guys are really contagious, I've started collecting model cars as well now so far, it's a 1966 Ford GT40 Mk.II in Gulf Racing livery from the 1966 24h of Le Mans GP and a 1969 Lamborghini Miura S, both scale 1/18. There is also a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in 1/43 (bc I own one in rl) and I'm currently looking for a 1969-1972 Plymouth Fury or GTX in 1/18. edit: pictures Also, does anyone know if there is a decent model of a 1969-1972 Chrysler New Yorker or Imperial LeBaron?
