Mods apear as unknown

Hello there you person that might be smarter then me and better in english. When i download mods from Beamng.com many, almost every mod i download appear as unknown. Not as vechicle map or anything just unknown. Please help fast. I WANT TO DRIVE VOLKSWAGEN IN THIS GAME .D

 

Don't it say outdated on the mod if its not compatable with the game version and yes i do install the mods correctly. They show up in the mod menu but as unknown and one more thing i sub on you on youtube

 

There is no indicator in game for a mod being out of date, mods only show unknown if either horrendously out of date (ie, 2 years old nearly) or incorrectly installed. How have you installed the mods? There are no current volkswagen mods either.

 

I install the mods by clicking on the green install button on the mod or by downloading stuff from the forum and puting it in the mods folder for Beam.NG

I know i have disabled most of the mods. Just so you know that.

 

That outdated tag is set manually and not automatically. Most of those mods are not from the repo either, they are 3rd party sites, a huge amount of massively outdated ones (87 golf hasnt worked in 2 years)
