unfortunately, no, other than messing with internal files (and I don't know how to do that)

Empty the recycle bin and make sure to delete system32. It is at least 6GB

Yeah, and stop your system from working.

Have you searched on the site yet? I'm darn sure that I saw a thread with the same question.

You can edit the mod directory in the startup.ini file found in your installation folder. Or if you want to move the "Documents" folder in its entirety you can change some windows settings.

delete every single mod and clean reinstall. You should be given the option on which drive you want to download it on. (If you bought it thru steam)

A bit excessive don't you think?
It clearly says "mods/mods/" and "mods/" so delete everything in the mods/mods folder and you should be good.

It specify the paths where it found the duplicate mods in the error message.

    One says:
    Documents/beamng.drive/mods/mods/repo
    And the other says:
    Documents/beamng.drive/mods/repo

    The first one is wrong.
You need to remove that 'mods' folder inside the 'mods' folder
    OR
Move the mods in that folder, one folder up (so that they are in mods/repo instead of mods/mods/repo)

Easiest way to do that is to move your "Documents folder" to a different drive.

Win 7,8,10 right click on your main documents folder, right click properties. Hit the location tab, then hit "Move" select the location you want to switch everything to. Hit ok.

This will switch the default location of your main document to set directory and copy files already in documents in new directory. However, you will still have the old "Documents" folder on your C: drive, seeing as everything is pretty much copied to the new set directory, you would probably delete this folder. (Pretty much clones Documents folder from C drive to whatever Directory, leaving the orginals.)
