Mods that are now outdated/unsupported and their fixes [Not Currently Accurate]

I might remake this mod of mine when I have time.

 

I'd love to see you give it ago, as I'm confident you'd do a good job.

 

It was deleted as a side effect of our request to remove the legacy T-Series Expansion Pack from the repository.

as quoted from our Facebook page:
"Hi everyone,

In case you haven't noticed, the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Legacy Edition has been permanently removed from the BeamNG repository. This is because it does not conform to repository guidelines, and despite our best efforts, it can't be made to conform. To avoid contradictory information about its support and update status, we decided to remove it from the repository.

We want to be clear: we still fully support the mod and will continue to release patches to maintain it. It just won’t be available on the BeamNG repository anymore.

The current BeamNG repository guidelines state that vehicles from previous game versions cannot be re-uploaded. Since all 1.x.x and 2.x.x versions of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack are based on the old T-Series and include it as a separate vehicle, it does not conform to these guidelines. Separating the components would complicate maintenance, and a forum release is impractical due to the mod's size. Splitting the file into parts is also not an option we prefer.

The mod will remain available for download exclusively from our website as a single package. We will continue to maintain it so you can still get countless hours of enjoyment from it."

We didn't deem it worthwhile to create a new thread just to spread that message, so we only posted it on our social media and Discord server.

Huh. I wonder why Legacy Bolide is allowed on the repo then. On a different topic, are you guys planning to update the Barstow F2 mod? I never got to use it, but have always wanted to.

 

Chances are that it slipped through the cracks. Don't take my word for it, though.

We're actually planning to remaster it, but I can't say when exactly.

That mod is significantly smaller, so I can kind of see how that could happen.

Does the Gavril Durham count since it’s pretty broken as of 0.32.

 

Most of these mods have either been discontinued, merged into another mod (like KLJP), the Authors have been banned/inactive, or they no longer make sense after some vehicle remaster. But it's good to remember a time with many innovative/different/creative mods.

 

add Hirochi Prasu, even CRGZ revamp is broken

So i've fixed the Miramar Z Coupe, but i've asked NinetyNine and now i'm wating to get permission to upload the updated version to the discussion thread for the mod. Should i send the fixed version here or should i wait for him to respond? Because he was last online the 17th of May.

 

I like it! But for just releasing it with or without author's permission, I'm not sure. It's up to you

 

Most of the mods I have only broke because of the name changes of the cars (us_semi, bx, etc.). I edited the mods myself and got them to work if the original maker did not update their mod.
