Moonhawk engine choices

I reckon the moonhawk could do with a few more engine choices, maybe some smaller and larger six cylinders and a couple of larger V8s one being a big block maybe.

 

It's already got a big block and a 6 cylinder. I'd like to see a small block 8 and another bigger big block. More full size cars made around the same era or a little later. Preferably with sub frames and leaf springs.

Interesting. I do that in real life. '67 383 gets put in 74-78 Chrysler's all the time. Would be nice to be able to swap motors over from other cars. But nobody would be using the Moonhawk's big block which is realistically underpowered due to the era it was produced. The problem is that you can't upgrade engine internals. Cuz you can make some screamers from those 70s Chrysler blocks with minor internal upgrades IRL.

 

Do you preform engine swaps as a hobby or as a business?
Which other cars' engines would you like swapped over to the Moonhawk?

Haha, I just do it on derby cars at the moment. Might be getting into some drag racing in time but to answer you question, just as a hobby. And the other in game v8s would be cool too. I imagine that those small blocks from the grand Marshall (4.5 and 5.5l) will be like the small block chev motors of the game... (throw away, dime a dozen) kinda like the big block from the moonhawk and the Barstow high perf motors will be the rare, expensive blocks. All speculation if there is a parts buying system.

Maybe I should rename my mod to "More Engines for the Moonhawk".

 

I wouldn't bother with all those 4 and 6 cylinders... That seems just overkill and unnecessary. All she needs is a couple more v8s. And the in game ones are already in game, so that should work fine.
