I'll see if I can experiment with apps, if I succeed they will be fuel and battery apps. The new app system confuses me though.. Lol.
For some reason, I can press F to turn off the car, but I can't turn it back on. Here's what I did: Held E, Pressed F to put the key in and then held E, Held both F and E, and none of them worked.
Press F once turns the vehicle off Press it again to allow it to start (on) Hold E to start the engine.
I did exactly what you said and just sat there holding the E key for like 30 seconds and nothing happens. I even checked to make sure no controls were conflicting with it.
Well diesel engine when it's warm easily produces enough pressure to burn fuel without any help, and worn out turbocharger can transform engine oil in to cylinders, Diesel engines burns oil as fuel, that mean if it got engine oil too it got more fuel to deal with. That's all it can happen randomly if your turbo isn't in good condition and it's a common thing, happens from time to time but peoples panic because they turn off "iginition" and engine still works on highest RPMs, they can't turn it off and problem starts there. If you are still in move put highest gear and brake to stall engine. If you panicked and stopped on emergency line, don't try to put something in to air intake way better solution is to put handbrake, top gear, push hard on brake, let clutch to get just a little bit grip to move engine in bay (but just a little bit) to prevent from hard knock to not damage engine mounts and let clutch go as fast as possible (clutch kick). The only one thing that could made it to fail is worn out cluch which will slip, then you may try to take something in to air intake but it's usually waste of time and it's dangerous as there's small chace that engine will blow up. Warm oil in to face and some metal parts aren't the best things to deal with. If you let engine work in most cases it will just run out of motor oil and seize.
Working on some features you guys might enjoy Still highly experimental. No spoilers yet, but it shows what I'm working on..... Somewhere!
Technically the mod has a siren already, it's just really buggy and doesn't work at the moment (afaik), will fix it next update (which is very soon), but it won't be improved, just what it was before. --- Post updated --- More Features Mod 7.11.0 RELEASED: Fixed props being laggy when spawned in Fixed siren sound Added experimental save-able settings! (Default Key: 'G' to save) Removed Choke Save-able Settings: The game now saves your odometer in the "Computer Trip" app! It is general vehicles and not vehicle specific at the moment, but hopefully it will be very soon! It will save a lot more things in the future. Default save location is "Documents/BeamNG.drive/config/MoreFeaturesMod/Settings.json" Working on vehicle location & rotation for first spawning in map. Possibly what vehicle you want it to load on game load. Download in OP! Share your Odometer readings with your friends to show them how much you drive! Users: THIS IS HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL, PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU ENCOUNTER BUGS! THE ODOMETERS MAY RESET FOR THE NEXT FEW UPDATES
It does, it just doesn't enable on a severe crash anymore, only when you shake the vehicle when it's off. I have identified a number of bugs and hope to release 7.11.1 later
If you "push a vehicle in real life hard enough, the alarm will go off" kind of thing. Turn the vehicle off (Pressing 'F') and drag it with the Node Grabber. Keep in mind only the Sunburst SBR4 and ETK 800 Series have it. In other words, yes.. The alarm is kind of useless at the moment... lol
Ok. But i think you should just enble in crashes too, as it should be more realistic then. (I think it's realistic as GTA car's alarms goes off in a crash)
