I really like the emotional songs from Eminem, my favorite being Mockingbird. The lyrics sometimes can relate to people who listened to the song.
The Korn cover is pretty good, but sad they didnt include "Happiest days of our lives" in between Another brick in the wall pt 1 and 2. (all 3 songs together for reference) As you can tell, much different genre.
I think they wanted to keep it a bit shorter, although they have done long songs before, the best example of this is Self-titled's "Daddy", way longer than the Pink Floyd cover.
In a parallel universe, this is the Duke Nukem theme. That is a parallel universe in which I want to live.
It’s great to see another vocaloid fan! (*^▽^*) I’m a huge vocaloid fan, anything and everything, from Miku to IA, Livetune to Kikuo, Outer Science to Fukkireta (technically a utau song, but I tend to group it with vocaloid). What I love most about vocaloid is that because it’s available to anyone and is so widespread, there is vocaloid music for nearly every genre and mood. There are Happy songs, sad songs, cute songs, creepy songs, pop songs, electronic songs, acoustic songs, and even heavy metal songs. That’s not even going into the ever-growing library of hundreds of vocaloids. From iconic voice of Miku, to the somewhat obscure Mayu, to my personal favorite, IA, there are so many vocaloids and voice banks, there’s almost certainly one that will suit the type of song you’re looking for. Vocaloid allows anyone to use music to tell a story and connects people around the world via music. Genres, types of songs, stories, anything really; Vocaloid has something for everyone, even if it’s not to everyone’s tastes.
I really find this song interesting. First of all, it's another song based off JD's childhood, along with others like Good God and Kill You. Second, the topic involved Fred Roger's show "Mister Roger's Neighborhood". It's not the first time where people have complained about the show. Here's the other songs:
More Korn.... Anyways, I found it interesting that they were implemented into an episode of South Park http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0705939/?ref_=tttr_tr_tt (It's also an homage to Scooby Doo as well.)
Damn, this gives me an perspective on Deftones, and it makes me want to listen to more of their songs.
(bump but it's not a bump the II) Does anyone get to play/hear metal music in their schools before? Today while at Gym, I heard the songs "Duality" by Slipknot and "Chop Suey" by SOAD.
You have to focus a bit, but this band from Brazil is really nice when you get into it, nice melodies too: Lyrics for reading: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/D.A.M/Phantasmagoria/412412
Why haven't I heard of this band? I'll check them out tomorrow. Also, anyone listened to the band Beast from Canada? You might recognize this song though.
Looks like a new album is already in the makes from Hollywood Undead, and this is one of the first songs published from it...
Ross Robinson... He worked with many bands such as Fear Factory, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Suicide Silence, Sepultura, Glassjaw, Tech N9ne, Vanilla Ice, At the Drive-In, and much more bands with a few of their albums.
I need to correct myself, Self-titled's "Daddy". There's a song with a similar name (Hey Daddy), but is much more shorter. These are just a few songs that bash the government and/or politics
Lyrics sound familiar.... maybe because it's inspiration was the Korn single A.D.I.D.A.S. from '96? (Yes, this is the same vocalist from Korn)
Gonna change up the genres here totally Pop music from when I was younger. As a chart song, I think this one deserves some kudos for daring to go reasonably low into the bass spectrum. Obviously given the title it is appropriate to do so, however pop music is often mastered to be played on any speakers, this song uses a low sine wave bass in the bridge sections. This is notable because there are no upper bass notes mirroring the low bass, which cheaper (or portable) speaker systems often rely on. As such there is a good chance that a lot of people didn't even know the bass notes were there, since so many speakers were uncapebale of reproducing it. Then, I was listening to wearing my role by Wiley. And realised that the video is somewhat furry related, however the song is 10 years old now and therefore predates when furry culture became widely known to the internet, Never mind public knowledge (even today, its not widespread knowledge outside of Internet). And this was a song that got to 2nd place on the UK music charts. So perhaps I ought to give WMG more credit for being hip and down with the kids. Considering how many top 10 chart song videos we're essentially softcore porn in those days, trust them to be ahead of the game when it comes to satisfying the publics kinks before they even knew they had them.
I think old-school pop is the best pop music out there in my personal opinion. From the wonderful Micheal Jackson to the funky MC Hammer, it's one hell of a era for pop. (Also, my router was being a pain in the ass today. Internet went down almost half a dozen times. Atleast it's now working properly)
