As we're speaking of that, my latest artwork is not a BeamNG powered one, but at least it features cars lol. I finished friday this color Fan Art of Top Gear France show. The story behind it : One of the host called Le Tone is a social networks friend of mine, as he owns an old Bmw and we spoke about that and other things, before he worked for the show. So as the season 4 was about to begin, i first did a caricature of him 10 days ago on Instagram, just for fun, and then he liked it, then reposted it and 5 minutes after the main host of the show asked me if i would have time to do one for him as well before the end of the afternoon , as episode one will be launched the same evening. I did it very quicky as well, and then i had a great pleasure watching the show knowing i have been a small part of the communication the same day ha ha. So last tuesday and friday i finally did the colored Fan Art, revisiting their promotional image and make it my own. Next week i'll release the black and white caricature of the third host. I hope this is not taken as a promo stuff, i just share something really nice that happened to me recently This gaves me a great energy for the following, and i'm sure i will keep the link here by doing action illustrations which use the game as reference for car action.
You definitely know how to draw, the cars are drawn with perfect detail, and the characters look just like a modern comic book character.
Effectively, to give the maximum performance and productivity with 3D modeling, it's grandly needed to know "on the fingertips" the keyboard shortcuts of the modeler used @work, and of course the many authoring tool's functions usage. Have a good ability to mentally create an image of three-dimensional object geometric projections onto a two-dimensional surface from the orthographic plan's views or vice versa. I still had the "chance" to learn technical drawing for mechanical engineering, on a drawing board with pencils, Rotring ink pens, compasses, etc, just before the beginning of the CAD, computer-aided draftsman! Today this precious knowledge helps me beyond all I could have imagined! By glimpsing along your thread, and for the eyes only, something tilt me when I see your wishes to model a DS! So I realize after deduce, you come from France, only a man from this country dream about this kind of car! I only want to say that's very cool! A part of me and my family come from France, and by fact I daily speak french...except on this forum, where I speak English to communicate with french people! So amazing... I don't know if I understand correctly, but you can expect on my modelling and jbeaming skill's for your mods, the proposal of my help to maintain up to date the "Codename: oldsfullsize" Mod, and gladly boost the realization of your DS Mod, as you wish (it was a long time ago, my Dad's Brother had one DS, I was young, but remember that's magic moments to take a seat inside and be total astonished, by the comfort, the awesome dashboard, and the design of the most innovative car from this time..!). Best Regards, Lo
Hey, this is maybe one of the most interessant feedback and experience share i received, thank you. I will answer to you properly later today, but yes i'm french and the DS is one of my favorite car, if not the favorite one. And i never been in a real driving one, what a shame, still need to live that I'll be back to the conversation later, as this is always very nice to share with people with similar experience and vision of things. Thank you again
