Awesome! Take your time friend. I like the sound of the Burnside Sentinel personally, but that’s just one idea I had for a name. The Avanti was built to compete with cars like the Thunderbird and Corvette. It shattered several records at the Bonneville salt flats.
Here are My suggestions 1. Rebadged Sunbursts, I'm actually trying to make some right now. (1. 2009-2012 Puyallup E5.) The Puyallup Brand was becoming outdated, being associated as an old, confederate-esque brand, along with the recession of 2008, Puyallup was going to be discontinued, so The e5 was made as a last ditch effort to save the brand, and sadly, the brand shut down on january 3, 2012, their last car being the larger E6. The E5 came with Either a 1.8 Liter i4, a 2.0 Liter i4, or a 2.0 Liter Diesel i4. (2. 2009-2022 Doberman Cassette/ Cassette Relay) Doberman was Farmworker motors' Semi truck brand, Selling fleet versions of the sunburst, The Cassette was even available, albeit extremely rare, with a Column shifter and 3 front seats, although this was discontinued in 2019 due to safety hazards, The relay was the cargo van version of the cassette, with a blocked off rear-left door and a sliding rear-right door. The cassette offered a 1.4 liter 30 year old Soviet-designed diesel engine that was turbocharged to make only 89 horsepower, but still offered a 2.0 liter diesel and a 2.0 liter Gasoline i4. (3. 2009-2011 Wentward Epidote) Wentward sold the Epidote as a more upscale model than the Kasen, doberman, and Puyallup brands, whilst slotting under the Lavrov Royal. The epidote sold poorly and was discontinued in 2011. The epidote was the only one offered with a hybrid powertrain to accompany the 1.8 and 2.0 models (4. 2009-2014 Kasen Kruise) The Kasen Kruise was the Low end model, but not as low as the Fleet/ Teenager targeting Doberman model. The Kruze was the best selling of the Kyoto-platform vehicles. The kruise was offered with every engine you've hear about on here, offering the 1.4 liter diesel, the 1.8 liter gasoline, the 2.0 liter gasoline, and the 2.0 liter diesel, all straight fours. (5. 2009-2014 Lavrov Royal) The Royal was the most upscale of the Kyoto-platforms, they sold only the 2.0 liter gasoline and the 2.0 liter diesel on this version. 2. A midsize 2010s Suv. (Bruckell Adventure, 2009-2020) 3. some kind of Lore-friendly Mercedes-benz/ Etk competitor
I quite love this, however I kind of just fell off the BeamNG community so I might not put these on in.
The Burnside Sentinel is a personal luxury coupe manufactured by Burnside between 1962 and 1964 as an answer to the Ibishu Celtia. The 1962 debut saw the car break dozens of records at the Bonneville salt Flats. The Sentinel features a fiberglass body mounted to a Burnside Special Base frame, powered by a supercharged 313 Dura-Fleet V8 engine; paired with either a 3 speed Super-Matic or a 4 speed manual transmission. The Burnside Sentinel remained the fastest production car built until the introduction of the Gavril Vendetta in 1967. I hope you like the lore I came up with. I attached some reference pictures of the Avanti as well. The car’s design originated in 1961 when Studebaker president Sherwood Egbert doodled on the back on an envelope while on a flight.
Two other suggestions I might add would be for a Citroën 2CV, perhaps rebadged as the Cherrier Chevaux, and a 1957-1972 Daihatsu Midget. Maybe the Satsuma Tanto? Seems like everyone’s on a Japanese mini truck kick recently. I can dig it
I learned about this unusual vehicle today, called the Dynosphere. Pioneered in the UK in the 1930s, but never really took off. Would look neat as a Doyler badged vehicle
Just to serve as a reminder, I'm not working on this thread nor the other things on it as I've since pretty much retired from this site and the game itself.
