okay, so three days ago my PC was left on overnight, when I woke it up from sleep mode there were errors evrywere and a message that said "close programs to avoid memory loss" the program was IE, so I closed IE and everything started running fine. but I think if I shut down my PC, it will start lagging again.

And for 3rd or 4th time. Try chrome instead.

IE is the worst browser ever.

so it turns out windows defender and malwarebytes weren't picking up some viruses. this could easily be the problem.
