i dont have a button like that. --- Post updated --- wait i found it nvm --- Post updated --- no it doesnt work
Whenever I move my camera there is weird black flickering, i also get log errors when launching the game
I really cant say much else than: If youve succesfully installed Reshade 3.0 (from the first post) Given Steam and Beamng full permission/started it as Admin Updated your GPU drivers (although i had to use an older version driver for my Geforce 1050, the latest gave me all kinds of weird problems) Extracted the Reshade-shaders folder and Test.ini to your Beamng/Bin64 (if youre running a Win x64 version, otherwise extract to Bin32 i assume) ...it should work :/ Yeah i can see that, annoying as hell. Did you do all the above, shouldnt get those errors? If the flickering is still there, try disabling MXAO, reminds me of a problem i had when my Reshade preprocessor settings were off. Ive assumed that is controlled by the Test.ini but might not be, meaning everyones shaders is off compared to mine :/ See attached pic:
I disabled MXAO and it dosen't flicker anymore, thanks! But the errors are actually still here, they are only gone when i start the game.
Ok so long story short I did a clean reinstall because i was having issues with beam, and completely forgot how to install reshade, yes ik there’s a tutorial but idk if it would work since it was for windows 7 and i have windows 10, so, how do i install it?
--- Post updated --- is it okay if I take a ton of screenshots of the version you made for me and you can copy them to the first post so people can see what the new version looks like?
Here my latest edit, more eye-candy in this one. I tried shooting a vid instead of doing screenshot this time, Been messing around alot with DOF, Bloom, MXAO well everything really. Its heavier on the gpu than the previous ones. It does have its flaws, for example im getting different result on mainly DOF and Bloom depending on what map im using, the DOF part has been somewhat frustrating but now ill leave it as is for a while. Its not all bad though, managed to sort some other issues that earlier presets had so all good i guess If you use a car or map with more color, itll get way more vibrant, i like the color saturation in Jalkkus map though, would love for the map to be bigger. The reason this preset is called Clueless is because i didnt know what to call it For installation, check the first post. For problems, scan this thread and check to see if its been covered before, then feel free to post and hopefully itll get sorted
It looks great, MXAO still glitches out, including the trees and shrubbery though. After turning off MXAO: With MXAO on at most angles:
We'll need to have a look at your Reshade settings under the 'Settings' tab, looks way weird with MXAO on --- Post updated --- Have a look at this, do you have the same settings in yours? Youll find it under Preprocessor definitions in the Reshade menu (see attached pic) RESHADE_DEPTH_LINEARIZATION_FAR_PLANE=1000.0 RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN=0 RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1 RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_LOGARITHMIC=0 MXAO_MIPLEVEL_AO=0 MXAO_MIPLEVEL_IL=2 MXAO_ENABLE_IL=1 MXAO_ENABLE_BACKFACE=1
Should work I added the new text by simply writing them in there, looking at a PDF for reference. I copied those in my message from my Reshade but might end up in one long line, i assume they need to be on separate rows. --- Post updated --- I think its the row saying: RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=0 on yours that is the problem but change the 0 to 1 and add the other rows too. Yours should now read: RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1 EDIT: If this is the solution then i guess everyone except me should have the same problem woth MXAO, i need to update the instructions in that case.
