ill try to help you out some more once i get home, since i cant really do much currently --- Post updated --- Anyways, any progress on the next edit? my suggestion would be make it slightly less yellow during the noon, or if you cant do that just slightly less yellow in general (for example, cessni's reshade isn't too yellow, but way too bright and oversaturated)
Okay I dragged Test.ini and Reshade-shaders folder back out to the bin 64 and it asked me to replace which I did. Now it looks like this but still doesn't work.
Well i can t make changes at a specific TOD, thats set in each map but i could reduce the overall yellow, might have a trick or two, ill try it out when i get home. Might remove some of that over-coloured feel i think it has atm --- Post updated --- To me that looks right, now why it doesnt work i dont know. I realize i have to uninstall Reshade completely on my computer and reinstall it to see for myself waht steps ive gone through before. Also looking at using a later version fo Reshade, if there is any gain from it.
Stupid question, but did you actually select the preset from the ReShade menu? Edit: Asked because some people miss this step.
did you copy the Shaders and Textures folders in the reshade-shaders folder in DavesReshadeClueless.zip? --- Post updated --- also when you hit shift f2 and go to settings, does it look like this?
disable MXAO in the reshade menu --- Post updated --- change RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=0 to RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1
Hyena, realized youre running 3.1.1... and one of the changes from 3.0... is that RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1 is set by default due to modern games are prone to use this. Ill probably install it later today so that all the little issues with 3.0.8... can be left in the past.
i'm actually running 3.0.8 still and I have it set to 1 and I have no issues and im too lazy to update --- Post updated --- i manually set it to 1
What do you mean? I just moved Test.ini and Reshade-shaders to bin 64 and replaced. In the settings it says both of them go to bin 64.
This is slowly getting confusing, just upload your d3d11.ini here so I can see what's wrong. Edit: Compress it into a zip before uploading, this forum doesn't allow uploading ini files.
In Effect Search Paths add to the existing path \reshade-shaders\Shaders In Texture Search Paths add to the existing path \reshade-shaders\Textures --- Post updated --- it worked for me anyways
Okay I did that but it still doesn't work. This is my bin 64. This is reshade-shaders. Shaders. Textures. @Leon1996 I don't know how to compress d3d11.dll into a zip.
Go to your bin64 directory, right click on dxgi.ini (not dll) and in the in the Send To menu click "Compressed ZIP Folder". Edit: Oops, the file is still called dxgi if you rename the dll. Can you also attach your ReShade.ini? Edit 2: Go to the "Home" tab and select the Test.ini from that text box above the shaders. Edit 3: Here is a picture:
Ok, so i reinstalled Reshade 3.0.8... to go through the process to see what is done and what problems show up. Install Reshade by opening the Reshade 308 exe-file and clicking Select Game, go to your Bin64-folder, mines at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64 There you select the "BeamNG.drive.x64"-exe/application Make sure Direct 3D 10+ is selected and install. Now you can start Beamng to make sure Reshade is installed correct. Youll see a bar at top and when its done loading you can access the Reshade window by hitting Shift+F2. You can start a tutorial by following the red instructions but what i did now was just closing the Reshade window and exited Beamng. Then i unzipped my Clueless-zip into the Bin64, so that the files in the Reshade-shaders-folder in the zip overwrote the one existing. This will also mean that the Test.ini is unzipped into the Bin64-folder. Then i started Beamng and waited for Reshade to load all the shaders, then i hit Shift+F2. Shit was still red but other than that i could now find my preset in the roll list, i chose it and behold, it loaded up and was activated! I pressed continue on all the red fields to get rid of them, it didnt have any impact on my preset. After that i chose what key i wanted to use to activate/deactivate Reshade, i chose 'END'. NOW FOR THE VERY DARK MXAO, as Hyena stated before, in the preprocessor part, under the Settings tab in Reshade, you need to set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1 Then you need to reload Reshade so either restart Beamng or hit ALT+ENTER to force window mode, thatll force a restart of Reshade. Hit ALT+ENTER again to get fullscreen back. --- Post updated --- Been messing about with the settings again, as requested a less yellowish tone was accomplished by adjusting the Vibrance shader settings. Gives a more natural feeling to it but ive kept the Vibrance shader cause i didnt want to loose the effect all across the board Need to test it out abit more on different maps and with different cars before i release it Looks like this now:
